Chapter Twenty.

Bel's emotions. {His PoV.}

---

Her dark emotions flowed through me, before I felt the trident pierce through her. It felt like many needles piercing through me. Her sweet intoxicating blood knocked me breathless. I walked towards her, and knelt down beside her and cradled her head in my arms. Her eyelids fluttered open, and she smiled a sweet, gentle warm smile. One she never shown anyone before. I didn't even see this smile before. All the smiles she'd given me were cocky, or mocking.

"Hey." She said, sounding tired.

"Hey." I said, my voice thick with emotion.

"Oh, don't cry, Bel. You hold a much more important status than me back in Italy. I'd rather sacrifice myself than let you die." She said wearily. I couldn't help it. The tears I tried to hold back just came. Rosanna lifted her fingers and brushed them off. Then she did the weirdest thing. Her fingers went behind my neck and entwined with my hair, pulling my face close to hers. She lifted her head a little higher, She gently kissed my lips. I kissed her back softly, so afraid that she'd break. Her lips felt so soft and sweet. I could feel her crying too. I brushed my fingers against her cheeks. I could feel the blood escaping from her chest wound. She broke away, sweat forming at her forehead. Her blood stained my dark shirt.

"Remember Bel... I'll always look after you, and love you." She said, smiling before her eyes closed forever.

"Rosanna..." My voice suddenly awfully weird.

A sharp gasp came from Kaori's crystal, as it slowly disappeared.

"Kaori!" Chirstian cried. Tears formed around his eyes. A sudden thought hit me. I was blood bonded to Rosanna. Her heart was still beating, but very weakly. That's why Kaori hasn't totally disappeared. I could hear her quiet heartbeat. The heart shape crystal was clearly visible.

"Heal her wound, heal her wound, Bel." Chirstian said, his voice hoarse from tears.

"But, its her chest wound!" I said, biting my lip.

"Bel, don't kill her. Don't let her die! Just do it! And she's your fiancée, seeing her exposed chest won't be that horrible. " Chirstian cried.

My fingers trembled, but I held them firm. I thanked God Rosanna's shirt was a button up shirt. I just unbuttoned the top few buttons, and already saw the bloody wound. The trident, didn't reach her heart, but it broke a few blood vessels. I concentrated some magic, and the magic touched her wound. Rosanna's body jerked slightly, Her vessels slowly joint back together. Her wounds were healing, but not closing. I bit my lip, wounding what to do. Giving up, I bent my head so that my lips would touch her wound. I licked her blood away and wished for her to be revived. I'm sure she would. I kissed her forehead again, buttoned up her shirt and walked to the doors of the locked warehouse. I felt tingles. So I summoned water to me, and slammed the doors hard enough. The doors cracked, but didn't give way. The water was consuming up some of the oxygen left.

"Stupid... Cracking the door... Won't help..." a gentle voice whispered.

I spun around, surprised to see Rosanna getting up.

"Rosanna!" I said, suddenly kneeling down beside her.

"Oh, you dumb, dumb guy. I really wanted to die." She said, leaning her head against my chest. I stroked her hair gently. Kaori's crystal slowly came visible. Kaori cracked her crystal and stood in front of Rosanna, clearly annoyed.

We laughed, then felt the oxygen level go lower, and lower. Is this how our life ends? Even after Rosanna got brought back?
