My phone started to ring, "Hello?" I said in my cracked morning voice."Good morning. Why aren't you up?" It was Brad.
I looked at the time, "It's six a.m." I sighed, "Now ask me again why I'm not up."
"We're gonna be late if you don't get ready?" He said urgently.
Then it hit me. I forgot that I had to be on a plane to L.A at seven. "Shit!" I mumbled under my breath. I heard Brad start laughing, "It's not funny!"
"You're right. It's hilarious!" He laughed even harder.
"I'll see you in a few." I hung up, and quickly got dressed. I combed out my hair and brushed my teeth.
When I finished getting ready, I packed my bags, and told my family goodbye and that I would see them in a week. I went into my little brothers room.
"Hey Drew." I said softly as I sat down on his bed.
He sat up and rubbed his tired eyes, "Lenn? Where you going?" He asked.
"I'm going to Los Angeles for a little bit. But I'll be back." I gave him a reassuring smile, "I'm gonna miss you a whole bunch."
"Do you have to go?" His eyes started to water.
I gave him a hug, "Yeah, but I'll be back in a week. I'm leaving you in charge to make sure that no one goes into my room. Not even Tate." I said motioning over to Tate my older brother who shared a room with Drew because we had a small house.
He smiled and nodded, "Don't worry Lenn, I'll take care of your room. I love you."
"I love you too squirt." I smiled and gave him a forehead kiss. "Go back to bed buddy."
He smiled and did as I told him. He was good kid for a four year old. I loved my brothers equally, but I just wanted to make sure Drew had someone to hang out with, so I spent more time with him. He's a lot younger than Tate and I.
I walked outside and Brads car was parked in my driveway, I quickly got in and he drove us to the airport. He was gonna travel everywhere with me for my first year. But I wasn't traveling anywhere special yet. Today I had to gain my look.

After hours of traveling on a plane, we finally made it from San Antonio to L.A. I was beyond excited!
As we stepped off the plane, I took in a deep breath, thinking it would smell better than San Antonio, because L.A is where all the famous celebrities are, and it's cleaner; no, there was so much pollution in the air, I almost threw up from gagging.
"Are you okay?" Brad asked as his big hand slid across my back.
I nodded as I coughed once more. "Do you know where we need to go?" I asked out of curiosity.
He shrugged, "No." He let out a little giggle, "But there should be someone waiting here to pick us up."
"Like with a limo?" I got excited. I'd never been in a limo.
He smiled and nodded, "Yeah, Colton said there would be one here waiting for us. Maybe we just gotta look around?"
So we started to walk around the airport looking for a sign that had our names on it. Nope.
"Maybe he's outside?" Brad added, and we walked outside together, and standing there right in front of a limo was a man with a suit and was holding a sign that read 'Lennon & Brad'. "Look, it's like a wedding limo." He turned to smirk at me.
I nudged him in the arm playfully, annoyed with his stupid jokes.
Once we got in the limo, my eyes were amazed. I had never seen anything so beautiful; soft plush seats, mini fridge, huge speakers, MP3 plug-in. "Oh my god." I spoke barely above a whisper. "Thank you God!" I said out loud thankful that we didn't have to use a gross rental car.
"You're welcome." Brad chuckled.
I rolled my eyes and giggled. I opened the min fridge and there was a tub of ice cream. "What? They have ice cream? I'm in love with whoever did this."
Brad started smiling ear to ear and gave off a little blush, "I better go buy you a ring then."
I laughed, "No! Not you!"
He smirked, "If you like it then I gotta put a ring on it." He held his hand up like Beyoncé.
My lungs felt like they were gonna fall off from laughing so hard, "That's not how it goes! But good try." I smiled.
He made a depressed sigh, "I've been singing it like that forever. What have I done?"
"You embarrassed Beyoncé." I said as I shoved the spoon full of ice cream into my mouth.
He laughed, "I'm gonna meet her one day."
"Really?" I asked, "And what are you gonna do when you meet her?"
"Tell her how amazing her legs are, and ask her how she keeps them so sharp." He made a proud smirk.
"Uhhh..." I just looked at him, "I think you'll scare her."
"Nah, she'll love me."
"Like how I love you?" I teased him.
He smiled, "No, way more."
I shrugged, smiled, and continued to eat my ice cream. Brad was something special, I could see how much he could change the world in a positive way if he wanted to. Hopefully he can change mine.
