"Ow!"

"Dean-"

"It hurts, Sammy!"

"Alright, get in the car. We're going to the dentist."

"So, gentlemen, who's first?" the dentist asks.

Both boys point at the other, causing the older man to chuckle.

"I'm not going first," dean says, shaking his head and taking a step back.

"Then how about you, son?" the dentist asks, smiling at the younger Winchester.

Shaking like a scared rabbit, Sam reluctantly sits in the chair while Dean perches on the windowsill on the far end of the room. The dentist and his assistant quickly begin their work, poking and prodding Sam's teeth.

"Hm," the man says after a while.

"Wuh?" Sam asks, eyes widening, the dentist's fingers still in his mouth.

"Looks like you have a pretty big cavity. It needs to be taken care of right away."

Sam groans and Dean smirks.

"Go right ahead, Doc," Dean says.

Sam's body goes ridged and he winces as the dentist's assistant administers the shot. He cringes when the dentist turns on the drill and doesn't stop cringing until it's all over and he's getting out of the chair.

"How you feelin' Sammy?" Dean laughs.

Sam glares in response.

"Next," the dentist says, looking at the elder brother expectantly.

"What?" Dean's smirk falters, "No way. Nope. I ain't gettin' in that chair. I'm fine."

Sam reaches up and pokes Dean's cheek with his finger. Dean yelps and smacks the offending finger away.

"Fine," Dean mumbles and plops into the chair.

After putting on a fresh pair of latex gloves, the dentist wastes no time finding the source of Dean's pain.

"That'll have to be removed," the dentist mutters to himself.

"Huh?" Dean gurgles around all the fingers in his mouth.

"There's a tooth in the back that's irreparably cracked. And the one next to it is chipped," the man pauses, "Well, time to numb!"

Two shots and a whimper later, the dentist goes to work pulling out the broken tooth. Dean's face is frozen in a grimace. Now it's Sam's turn to smirk, though his is extremely lopsided. There's a sickening pop and suddenly the dentist is holding most of Dean's tooth with tweezers. Dean nearly passes out at the sight, quickly looking at the ceiling and breathing deeply.

"Now for that chipped tooth," the dentist sets Dean's tooth on a tray and, in only a few minutes, has the chipped tooth fixed.

Dean slithers out of the chair and the brothers exit the dentist office as quickly as they can. They slide into the impala and stare at each other.

"Ice cream?"

"Ice cream."

They smile their drooping grins and set out to get a frozen treat.
