Can you please repeat how to spell your full name?" The nurse asked as I sat on the hospital bed.

"Emelia Rose Mason, E-m-e-l-i-a, R-o-s-e, M-a-s-o-n" I sighed, I had repeated myself what felt like a thousand times.

"Can't you just look at my birth certificate?" I questioned.

"When the young man brought you here, you didn't have it on you. Sorry" the nurse said giving me a sheepish smile.

"Who brought me again?" I asked I woke up and the first thing she did was ask me a billion questions. The last thing I remembered was him hitting me over and over.

"A young gentleman did, he is being questioned by the police right now. But you can see him later." The nurse said.

I just nodded confused as hell.

"What is your birth date and place of birth?" She asked.

"June 7th, 1988 in Abbotsford, British Columbia," I stated.

"That makes you 25? Am I correct?" The nurse asked. I nodded, my head hurt, and i was so done with these questions.

"What's your health card number?" She asked.

Sighing, I told her my number, and after what seemed like a billion questions later, she had finally let me be alone.

Leaning back into the hospital bed, I started picking at my nails. An anxious habit that I had been doing for years.

"Knock Knock," A voice said as they knocked on the door.

I looked up to see Josh standing there. I felt an instant feeling of relief.

"Josh," I said in a happier tone. A tone that I had not used in so long.

"How are you? I'm sorry I didn't get you out of the house sooner." Josh said in a sad tone.

"That was you? You saved me?" I questioned confused on why he was even there.

He nodded and sighed, "I had a bad feeling, and usually my instinct is right, so I had to check on you and man was I glad that I did. I just wished I came sooner."

I patted the bed motioning for him to come sit next to me.

"I am forever grateful for you. It doesn't matter how fast you got there. I'm just glad that you got me out of there. Other wise I think that I would be dead." I said as I leaned in closer to him resting my head onto his shoulder.

"The doctors didn't fill me in on details... So what are your injuries other than the obvious one?" He asked, pointing at my casted leg

"Just a fractured foot, a lot of bruises and a busted lip, but I'll be okay. Crutches for two weeks and then I just have to wear a boot" I said giving him a small smile.

"The police did inform me on some details," He said as he played with my hair.

"Oh?" I questioned. They hadn't been in here to fill me in at all.

"Kaleb now has a restraining order against you. He can't be within 500 feet of you. Also, they said that you won't be able to collect your things at his house and that someone will have to do it for you." Josh explained.

"So he's not going to jail?" I questioned as I felt like I was in a state of shock.

"No, which angers me a lot but at least you have a restraining order," Josh said giving me a half smile.

"Where the hell am I going to live?" I questioned feeling panic erupt inside me.

"Well I talked to your mother, and she said she couldn't have you stay with her as she was traveling with her new boyfriend. So I figured you could stay with me? That way if anything happens I can protect you." Josh explained.

"I can't let you do that Josh. We just met, and I can't get a job right away, I need to heal, no one is going to hire a girl with a fractured foot. I won't be able to pay rent and that won't be okay.' I rambled.

"My point exactly, you can't stay in a hotel, or rent a place if you have no money, stay with me and my roommate Matt until you get onto your feet, get a job, and then pay me back."

"Fine." I sighed, leaning my head on his shoulder. I was forever grateful for this boy I had met only a month prior.

Soon after that conversation with Josh, the doctor had come in and said that I could be released in a few hours.

Opening the door, Josh quickly ran over and handed over my new crutches.

"You won't be able to make it up all of the stairs, so I'll have to help you," He said, scooping me up unexpectedly I screamed.

"Are you okay staying here by yourself? You can go on my laptop. I need to go get Matt and then grab your stuff and something for dinner. Any requests?" He asked concerned.

"Go right ahead, I'll be okay. Oh, and Chinese food" I smiled.

"Here's my number, call me if you need." He said handing me a cell phone.

"Who's this?" I questioned at the iPhone.

"Yours, I got it while you signed release papers" He chuckled.

"Great, more debt" I frowned.

"Hey, you needed that, and don't focus on the money, just focus on getting better. I'll be back, call if you need." He said, giving me a smile and then walking out of the door.

Holding the rose gold iPhone 5s in my hand, I sighed. It had been twenty minutes and the apps have just finished downloading.

"Finally" I groaned.

Opening the twitter app, I put my details in and logged in. Frowning I realized I had an unreal amount of notifications. Follows and tweets.

@Trencher324: "Guys Josh is no longer with Amanda its official! Oh, and the mystery girl is@EmeliaRoseM"

Confused, I responded.

"@Trencher324 Mystery girl?"

Shocked, the person responded with an image of me and Josh leaving the hospital, along with an @Joshramsay. Clicking on the account, sure enough, it was Josh's, and he was verified. Shocked, I snooped a little and realized he was in a band called Marianas Trench. How dumb was I? They were on the radio all of the time, I just never cared to search up who the actual band was.

Panicking at the number of followers, I quickly deleted my account. I didn't want any hate for being seen with Josh.

Sighing, I was feeling restless. How long ago did Josh leave?

Checking the time I groaned, it had been a good hour. An hour too long laying in this bed. Pushing the covers off, I grabbed my crutches from the nightstand and stood up. Wobbling all the way to the living room, I sat on the couch, Josh's two cats sitting next to me. Bored, I turned on the television, a rerun of greys anatomy was on.

I must've dozed off as I woke up to a man poking me in the face with a chopstick.

"Matt stop it" I heard Josh laugh.

Sitting up, I yawned, stretching.

"Rise and shine, your stuff is in your room, and I got Chinese food here for you." Josh laughed handing me a plate full of delicious sweet and savory food.

"Oh yay" I giggled. I was starving.
