"Mike can you get me another drink," Josh asked.

We all had gone out to the bar, It was the first time I met all of the guys. They were pretty nice. I wasn't drinking, it wasn't a good idea of drinking and pain meds. It had been a week since the accident. Josh has been really sweet, so has Matt. They've been helping me out a lot.

"I thought you didn't drink?' A girl said as she pulled a chair over and sat at the table.

"What are you doing here Amanda?" Mike questioned the girl.

"I'm out for drinks with some friends, saw you guys and figured I'd say hello." She smiled.

Josh took another sip of his drink, avoiding eye contact with her.

"Who's this?" Amanda asked pointing at me.

"Friend, and you are?" I asked, although I already knew.

"Old friend." She replies, her tall, thin figure, and blonde hair was gorgeous.

"If that's what you call it" Matt mumbled rolling his eyes, causing her to frown.

"So really, is this your new girlfriend Joshie? Wow, you moved on fast." She scoffed.

I rolled my eyes and went to respond but Josh cut me off, you could tell he was so done with this conversation,  tears welling up in his eyes.
"Just a friend, not like it matters, but excuse me, I need fresh air." He snapped, getting up from the booth and walking through the crowd of heavily intoxicated people.

"But seriously, why is he drinking?" Amanda questioned.
"I don't believe that's any of your business, but excuse me I have to go see if he's fine." Mike sighed, getting up and going after Josh.
"Maybe I should go" Amanda awkwardly said finally getting the hint that she just made everything awful.
Standing up, she walked away.

All that was left at the table was Mike, Ian, and I.
We should probably go... I don't believe that they're coming back inside.

Standing up from the table, balancing on my crutches, I placed some money on the table from Josh's wallet that he had left, and then went outside myself, the boys following behind.

"I think we should all head home," Josh said wiping a few tears away from his face.

"It was nice meeting you Mike and Ian," I said awkwardly smiling.

"You as well Emelia, we'll see you guys later," Mike said as him and Ian walked off.

Getting into the car, Josh got into the passenger seat and  Matt got into the back seat.

"You okay?" I asked Josh

"Yeah" He mumbled looking at his phone.

I felt really bad, he was obviously upset.

Once we got back to the house, Matt quickly went into his room.

"Can you please sleep in my room tonight? I can't sleep alone tonight Em" Josh asked

I nodded, following him into his room, he has done so much for me, if he needed me to sleep in his room tonight then I guess that's what I'll have to do.

"I'll be right back Josh, I need to change into pajamas," I told him.

"Just wear one of my shirts" Josh mumbled obviously not wanting me to go.

Nodding, I took the shirt that Josh had thrown to me and awkwardly moved the best i could with these damn crutches to his closet.

"What are you doing?" Josh asked

"Changing in your closet" I mumbled embarrassed

"Just change in front of me I don't care Em," Josh said looking at his phone.

Quickly taking off my dress, I put the shirt on. Feeling self-conscious as it barely covered my bum.

"You look fine," Josh said

Sighing I placed my crutches next to the nightstand and crawled under the covers and laid next to Josh.

He wrapped his arms around me and brought me closer to him.

"Thank you" He whispered

"For what?" I mumbled half awake

"For being there when I need you"

"That's what I'm here for. You helped me, I help you" I mumbled snuggling deeper into Josh's arms.
