"Babe, I'll be home by seven. Don't worry about dinner, the guys and I are probably going to order out. Have a good day, see you when I get home" Josh said over the phone.

I smiled, I was really lucky to have him.

Saying a quick goodbye and wishing him to have a good day; I hung the phone up. Searching through my closet I started looking for something to wear.

Today was going to be a pretty busy day. The boys were at the studio working on some songs; while I was running around doing errands. I had to get groceries, and I had a hair appointment, and then I was planning on going out for lunch with Megan.

Slipping on a pair of dark blue denim skinny jeans, I grabbed a black cami top and my favorite black trench coat. Also grabbing my scarf and some light mittens. It is almost December it was pretty cold out. This time of the year all it did was rain. Sometimes it would snow but not very often. After getting dressed, I left my dark brown hair as it's messy wavy self and then applied some light eyeliner and mascara.  It had been a month since Josh and I started dating, and we are officially girlfriend and boyfriend and life is great.
"Bennie, are you going to be a good girl while I'm gone?" I asked the adorable black lab that I had come to love over the short period of time that I had been living here.

She simply wagged her tail and licked my hand.

"That's my good girl," I said scratching the back of her ear.

Grabbing my purse and keys; I left the apartment and made my way to the car.

Switching the channels on the radio, I was displeased that no good songs were on. Sighing I put in my Aerosmith cd.

"It ain't easy, livin' like a gypsy, Tell ya, honey, how I feel. , I've been dreaming, Floatin' downstream and Losin' touch with all that is real." I sang along to one of my favorite songs.

Driving out of the parking lot of the apartment block, I made my way to the grocery store. It didn't matter that this was the first stop I had to make as I was getting nothing frozen.

Walking into the store I grabbed a cart and started placing all the necessities that we had run out of.

"Water, tortilla chips, pasta sauce..." I mumbled as I checked stuff off my list.

After gathering the rest of the stuff on the list, I paid at the till and then loaded up the car.

"Shopping is done, now time for hair," I mumbled to myself as I got in and started driving to the salon.

I was changing my hair up quite a bit. My natural hair was light brown but I had dyed it dark brown a few years ago and stuck with that. And now I'm going dark purple so that was a cool thing. Walking into the salon I checked in at the till and then waited for my stylist to come and call me.

"Emelia?" A higher pitched voice called.

It was my stylist Stella. She had been doing my hair for years. The first time I had gone to her, I believe I was about fifteen or sixteen. That was when I went through my slight Gothic faze. I had that typical haircut with bangs covering my one eye (A.N Not gonna lie I love that hairstyle) and I wore heavy eyeliner and literally had no color in my closet. So I guess nothing really changed other than a little more color (Aka dark purples and blue surrounded by almost all black), a different hairstyle, and my eyeliner toned down a little bit.

"Stella" I exclaimed walking over to her and pulling her into a big hug. She was around six years older than me but we forever were great friends.

"So what are we doing for you today?" She asked as I was sitting in the chair with the black cape on.

"I want to go dark purple today. And I guess a little trim so my hair remains healthy" I said touching the ends of my hair. There wasn't a lot of split ends but there was a few.
