Chapter 16 ~ Hi I'm Melanie, and I'm a chocolateholic

Fall is coming, one of my favorite season of all time. Halloween tis the season to be scary and frighten people. It's kinda of one of those "finally" season you can say. It's finally here the leaves are changing the breeze is more around to lift leaves and fly away with them.

As little girl my dad would collect all the leaves in the backyard and create a huge leave pile. He would hold my hand and we would count to three and jump into the pile.

It was the memory that I had of my dad, the only one I didn't resent.

I have hard time letting go and forgiving, but once you been doubled crossed. It's hard not to think you will never be doubled crossed again.

Because it will happen again.

Letting people in was difficult because I didn't want to get hurt again. Carly was the only one I let in to my secrets and if I needed her she there for me. And I'm there for her, no matter what.

But maybe it's time to tell Jace something about me that I'm very hush hush about.

It's time to tell him about Greg.

"So how did it go falling into a bathtub?" Troy comes up behind me.

"Ha ha very funny, talk about it again and you'll wake up tomorrow missing your left nut." I seethed at him and he just laughed.

"Yeah okay." He replies to me and I roll my eyes at him. Carly looks at my face and proceed to push Troy in which to the point he fell in the middle of the hallway.

I started laughing and it was great Troy glared at us and got up dusting himself off.

In one swift moment Troy pinned Carly to the lockers with a smirk on his pink plumed lips.

"You're going to pay for that." He says close enough to that I'm sure Carly could feel his breathe on her face.

"Bite me bitch." She says and pushed him off of her. Troy eyes were dark, ethier he was was turned on or he wanted to kill Carly.

Either way they are going to get together. It's meant to be.

"So how does it feel being off the crutches?" Reece asks coming up from behind me.

"Good, I mean limping isn't any better, but I like it better then crutches." I say laughing and Reece joins in.

"Melanie get your ass over here!" Carly yells at me and Reece shoots me apologic smile. Great he even knows that Carly is in a mood.

I limp towards her and we walk to class, but Leigh came out of no where and stops us.

"Hello! I just wanted to thank you again. Jace is great no I mean better then that he's awesome!" With that she walked off.

Holy trucking company batman! Leigh is nutcase no wait she's the joker in disguise.

"I'm guessing they had sex yeaterday." Carly says and I nods remembering Jace words from yeaterday.

"I have to go Leigh needs me for something."

Yeah needs help with organism.

Following Carly into the classroom I sit down and relax. Carly turns to me and laughs before asking. "So how does it feel to come to school later?" She asks me and I laugh at her.

"It's great I got to sleep in." I say and Carly laughs and before I knew it she going on a rant.

"Can't you Jace just make out already?! Like come on if you guys kissed your head would explode with fireworks!" She exclaims and I roll my eyes at her.
