S.O.C: Gotta get out by 5 Seconds of Summer
"Luke, will you knock it off!" I exclaim to him as he follows me into the living room.
Slightly wishing my chocolate milk had whiskey in it.
"I just don't understand why you guys have to have a physical relationship! Why can't you guys go back to being friends?" Luke says in a brotherly tone, I roll my eyes and turn around.
"Luke are you a virgin?" I stop and turn around, looking at my wide eyed brother.
"No." He says with slight blush.
"If it wasn't for the physical stuff you would still have your flower. So therefore having a friend isn't going to giving you the fun things in life." I say taking a sip of my chocolaty goodness while Luke looks at me wide eyed.
"Umm okay. Uhh don't get pregnant umm good talk yep bye." He says grabbing his bag and running up stairs.
I start busting out laughing.
"Oh Luke you're an idiot." I say to myself as I plop on the couch. I turn on Netflix as I hear the front door open and slam. Magically Carly is right beside me.
"Turn on some Friends I'll get the popcorn, don't ask questions, just do what I say." Carly says and I put my hands in the air as a surrender.
I wasn't going to question her anyway, her glare said it all.
I wait for Carly to come back into the living room to watch our show. She comes in and puts the popcorn between us. I hold my chocolate milk and press play and we watch season two episode one.
"God I wish I lived alone." Carly says and I turn to her in confusion.
I pause the show and continue to look at her. "Okay what's up your ass because there is something up with you." I say and she roll her eyes and turns to me.
"I got in another fight with my dad about what I want to do with my life. He says now that I'm a senior I need to buckle down and think about a real job." She says looking like she is on the edge of tears, I move the bowl of popcorn and scoot closer to her.
"Oh Carly we both know your Dad is a hard ass and wants what is best for you." I tell her and she looks at me and breaks down.
Oh no tears, my greatest enemy.
"Mel I'm going to college, it's not like I'm not but I want to be a wedding planner that's all I've wanted to be. My dad doesn't get it, I want to see people be happy, I want them to marry there soulmate. I want to help run the show so the bride can walk down the isle and not have to worry." She says through her tears. I side hug her as she lays her head on my shoulder.
"Carly, this is what you want to do not your dad. This is your life if your dad doesn't like, that's his problem not yours. He wanted you to go to college and you are so don't worry about it." I tell her and she sniffs trying to stop from crying. "It's not like you are going to battle this alone you have Troy and I and the other idiots, to support you; we have your back no matter what." I tell her and she sits up with a teary smile.
"Thank you Mel." She tells me as she wipes off her tears from her face.
"There's no need for a thank you when I'm speaking the truth." Carly shoves me playfully and I laugh.
