Chapter 19

Annie's POV
I've been trying my hardest to block what happened with Brennan out, but it sticks in my head like glue.
It's just. How could someone do that to another person. You don't do that! Ugh. I was getting mad.

Brennan had his last day of school today so we are all going over to their house to celebrate. Me and Katie have just a few more days left then were done. Homeschool takes so long.

Brennan had texted me telling me we were going to be swimming so Hayley and I picked out our cutest bathing suits. Hers was pink with white bottoms that had alternating polka dots. Do her pink top had white dots and her white bottom had pink dots. Mine was a black almost one piece except it had cutouts everywhere. It was hot if you asked me. That why we never showed it to my dad. He would've killed me and my mom for buying it.

We made our way over to Brennan's house. I opened the door and pounced on Katie. "Oh my gosh stop scaring me!" She laughed. I hugged her and sat down with her. "The boys are downstairs if you all want to join them." We all stood up and went down. "Hey look. They're all asleep." Katie whisper shouted. "Let's scare them." Hayley said. We all creeped up on the boys. Me with Brennan, Hayley with Ryan, and Katie with Shane. "One-two-three!" We jumped on them. "Boo!" We screamed. They all jumped up and screamed. "Oh I hate all of you." Brennan said. "No you don't" I nudged him. He hugged me and kissed my cheek.

We all walked up to their pool to swim Brennan picked me up and ran me over to the pool. "Please please don't!" I screamed but I was too late. Splash. I was in the freezing cold pool. And I haven't even taken my cover up clothes off so they were all wet. I took of my wet shirt.

"Woah" Brennan whispered. I rolled my eyes. Even though I wanted him to say that. Everyone else jumped in and swam. Katie's dad came out with a projector and put us in a movie. They all wanted to watch "me before you" about 20 minutes in we all wanted to finish it inside.

We moved everything inside and finished the movie. I ended up crying the whole time. Brennan had to pick me up to get me off of him. "Annie everything is alright" he brushed hair out of my eyes. I held on to him harder.

I always hated to cry. But I cried a lot all the time. It's just now every sad thing makes me think of Caleb and I cry even more. I don't want to tell anyone yet. I don't think anyone will understand. I didn't want to think anymore so I went to sleep.

This might've been trash but oh whale. WE HAVE 1K READS. OH MY LANTA. THANK EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU. I honestly thought this story would be a terrible story. Lol. Thanks for reading
