I forgot.

I forgot I could be without you.
I forgot that words could be deceiving and not be true.
I forgot that your sentiment was a lie.
I forgot that you always wanted my heart to die.
I forgot that your love was fake.
I forgot that you destroy for your sake.
I forgot that I could survive a heartbreak
Because it meant I would have to awake.
I forgot that I could be a person
Even if it meant that I would worsen.
I forgot that I could leave you
Because our relationship was never true.
But most of all,
I forgot how to forget.

I remember everything.
