1,2,3,4,5, 6. You're probably guessing what significance does this number 6 have? That's the number of years I have spent living in a boarding school. It wasn't my choice initially but now to think of it, I don't regret even a bit of it.
Well, going back in time, I realise the main reason why I agreed (partially) to be sent to a boarding school, was because they told me my older brother, Louis would come along with me. But that never happened, EVER! I was frustrated, but then I got used to it. Louis was more than just a brother to me, my parents were hardly around. He hated the fact that I had to be away from home, but eventually grew to accept the fact.
So yeah, I am Lucy. I don't really know what to say about myself. But maybe with what I am going to say, you may have an idea of the lifestyle I have been embracing (not preferably) as of now. "I spent 6 years in an unbelievably orthodox and conservative boarding school." It doesn't seem like I had actually experienced life, I know. By orthodox, I mean, literally. Guess what?
Like looking at the opposite gender is a crime by itself. Teachers would send death glares if they spot a girl and a boy talking, like WTF? Nothing's so intimate by just talking. And adding to the fact that the corridors and classrooms are under surveillance, nothing can anyways be done by mere talking. The fact about these schools is, "News travels faster than forest fire." So basically, one teachers spots you, and then the rumour spreads to everybody. And trust me, they EXAGGERATE! Alot! You know what, I guess I better not elaborate on this, It sounds pathetic already.
And before I forget to mention, you have to deal with a hell lot of drama from the girls' side too.
I am blessed with the best people of all times. 6 of us in total, Cindy, Jade, Alison, Natalie, Stacy and me, and it always feels like a family with them.
So I have parents who are not really around me most of the time, but apart from that, I have a perfect brother, perfect friends, the perfect mansion with everything I've ever wanted.
When I thought I was happy with everything around, my parents had to say something to shock me.
