The rain parted to show a rainbow shining through the dark clouds that encircled the small town.
Pete and Patrick and gotten home safely, as both of their dates had failed.
"Are you glad the dates didn't work out?" Pete mumbled.
"Yes."
"But why?" Pete wondered.
"Because... reasons I'm not sure of."
Pete furrowed his eyebrows and ignored it.
Patrick sighed. "Look at me, Pete."
Pete shrugged and twisted to face Patrick. Patrick cupped his face and pressed his lips to Pete's.
"Lol, stop," Spencer cried, throwing his arm between them.
"You?! Dallon and Brendon told me about you. How did you get in here?" Patrick raged.
Spencer spread his hands abover his face and said, "MAGIC."
