So I'm guessing you're wondering what happened after I said yes to Liam, right? Well, I was regretting my decision. I promised myself I wasn't going to make a fool out of myself, but now I'm going to Prom with the Liam Rogers. And just to clear things up, we're only going as friends, nothing more. Emily doesn't think so but I like my reason best.
So yes, I'm going to tell you what happened after Liam asked me to Prom. It only happened two hours ago, so keep that in mind.
**Two Hours Ago**
"So, will you do me the honor of letting me take you to Prom? Emily and Casey told me you weren't wanting to go, but I just assumed no one asked you yet so I'm making sure I'm the one who gets to go to Prom with you. So please, will you, Chloe Johnson, go to Prom with me, Liam Rogers?"
"Yes."
After I said that one, little word, Liam jumped up and took me into his grasp. He hugged me and I hugged him back. He spun me around and pecked my cheek once he sat me down. I was just grinning like a werido at his words and actions. Isn't he just so sweet?
I looked down at my ring and smiled. I don't know how he knew my ring size, but it fits perfectly. I'm just in awe at how this boy went over the top to please me. I walked over to Emily and took my flowers back. Em fake pouted and I laughed. Liam grabbed my waist and positioned me against his chest. I held my flowers to my side and someone yelled 'Smile!' so we did exactly that. But for me, it wasn't forced and I could tell by Liam's eyes his wasn't either.
The photographer took a bunch of photos and my jaw hurt but it was worth it. I once again hugged Liam and took in his scent. he smelled. . . like citrus. I was almost intoxicated by the scent and presence of him.
"Uh, want me to take you home? If not I get it, but I just wanted to-" He was cut of by me nodding my head wildly. I probably looked like a bobble head. He chuckled and grabbed my hand. It's not how couples hold hands or anything, it was rather weird. His palm was gripping my fingers and mine just tried not to loose the blood flow. He really doesn't know how to be nice, even when he tries.
I yanked my hand away and placed my hand in his. It was much nicer than my fingers turning purple from his strong hold. Our hands were now positioned so that the finger tips were locked together. It seemed stupid, but I'm not going for romantic.
We walked over to his car and he opened the door for me. I was generally impressed. I didn't know Liam had a nice bone in his body or could keep a steady mood for more than three minutes. Like I said a million times already: I'm impressed.
He drove in silence, but it was comfortable silence. Liam pulled up at my house and he opened my door. I once again, grinned like the dumbass I am. He took my hand the same way we had it and walked me up to the door. I smiled at him and he smiled back.
"I never thanked you for asking me. I know that sounds lame, but I mean it. I wasn't going to go because I didn't want ditched and here you are asking me. But I need to ask, why me? You could have pretty much any girl in the whole school but you're asking me? Why?" I asked looking directly into his eyes. He sighed and snaked his arms around my waist then laid his head on my shoulder. I stroked his hair and he mumbled something.
This time, he spoke more clearly. "I asked you because I don't care about everyone else. I also asked because I knew you wanted to go, but the right someone didn't ask. I'm assuming we're friends so what's so wrong with asking my friend to Prom? Oh, and Emily has a date. He looks a lot like Casey, has your blue eyes, and he lives with you. Can you guess him?" Liam finished his lovely explanation and hint off with a smirk. But what caught my attention was that he said Emily had a date with someone and that someone was my brother! Like, what the hell?!
