It's been a week since Liam and I've been dating. To say things have been going great would be an understatement. I honestly couldn't imagine anything better than how great things between have been with us.We are now sitting in my room, watching a movie. To be honest, I don't even know what movie it is. All I know is that Liam put a movie in the DVR. It's kinda hard to pay attention when Liam won't stop talking to me.
I laid back on his chest while he wrapped his arms around my torso. He's always warm and I savor that. Weird enough, I'm always cold so he's like my heated pillow.
When Liam wasn't talking, I got to see what movie it was. We were watching Titanic. Over the time I've known Liam, I've discovered he's very girly. I'm not complaining, though. I know that if I want to watch a chic-flick, I'll be able to.
We were at the scene where he was holding her over the edge and she held her arms like a bird. I've seen this movie quite a few times and to this day, I never understood why he didn't push her off and when he did die, he had nothing to let go of.
"You know, we should try that," Liam joked. I rolled my eyes but couldn't stop the smile that found it's way onto my lips.
I peered up at him from behind me and spoke, "Yeah, we should. We should do it on the roof." I think I was giving an evil look because Liam's eyes went wide.
"No, you'd push me off!" I laughed and nodded my head at him.
He then smirked and kissed my forehead. I settled into his touch and wrapped my arms around his neck. I fiddled with the hairs on the back of his head while he rubbed his hands down my arms.
After sitting in silence for a while, Liam spoke. "You're so beautiful," I turned to look at him when I found he was already staring at me. I blushed under his gaze and continued fiddling.
"Liam," I said when the silence turned awkward,"why do you like me? I mean, I'm just an average girl. I can guess half of the human population would love the chance with you. So why me?" The question had been aching inside me for some time now and I wanted an answer.
Liam cocked his head to the side and gave me a lopsided grin. "I like you because you're different without even trying to be. I like you because you don't hold back and tell me how it is, even when it's mean. I like you because you're you and I could never change that."
I blushed and kissed him on the cheek. That was super sweet. I wasn't expecting him to say anything like that. I was honestly thinking he would say something about me being hot or that I had a nice ass. I don't know, it's Liam. It's a surprise every day.
"Liam, we should go downstairs. Mom said dinner would be done in a bit," I said with a sigh, realizing I would have to get up. Or worse. I'd have to face my mother's raff.
Since Liam and I've been dating, my mom's been watching us non-stop. She doesn't want us in the same room together by ourselves. She also makes sure he leaves before ten. I swear she's the worst control freak I've ever seen.
I heard Liam sigh too, before shifting me off his lap and onto the bed. He then got up and patted himself down for any wrinkles. I stood up as well and stood by him.
"Ready to face our doom?" Liam joked as he laced our hands together. I just smiled a little to myself and walked out of my room.
We walked down the long hallway that my room was in. When we passed by Casey's room, I saw her light was off but the bathroom light was on. She was probably peeing and forgot to close the door.
I shrugged my shoulders and followed Liam down the stairs and into the kitchen where my mom was making lunch. When she heard us come in, she turned and gave us a look. Her eyes then wandered down to where Liam and I were holding hands. I heard her sigh but continued to cut up vegetables.
