I'd like to see you in the summer.
I'd like to see the way the warm breeze
flows through your hair
and the way the sun hits your cheeks.
sit under a big tree, with popsicles
and talk about whatever.I'd like to see you in the fall.
I'd like to see you in big sweaters;
a hot drink in hand.
I'd like to see you smile as you
throw golden leaves
into a rainbow sky
and watch the sun set
early in the day with you.I'd like to see you in the winter.
I'd like to see you wrapped in a blanket,
breath visible from the cold.
I'd like to see you next to a fireplace,
and listen to your intoxicating laugh and see your infectious smile
as we make silly jokes.I'd like to see you in the spring.
Id like to see the way you look with water droplets on your face
and the way your hair curls up as it dries.
I'd like to kiss you in the sunshine and grin as the flowers
bloom around us.I'd like to see you all the time.
Every season, every day.
I'd like to see you so much that
I've memorized every freckle on your face
and seen how beautiful you are without makeup and fancy clothes.
I'd like to see you so that I can tell you i want to see you tomorrow
and every day after that until I can't see you anymore.
but I'd love to see you in the summer.
