The next day I went to Barnes & Noble like I usually do. It's what I always do on Fridays and sometimes just random days. I picked out a book to read and got my cappuccino from the Starbucks there. Then I sat down out a small table and read. I was four chapters into the book when I heard his voice. He was in line ordering a coffee and I looked over my book at him. He took his coffee and starting looking for a place to sit. And yes of course, my little two person table was the one place open.

So he walks over to the table and asks if the seat is taken. I just shake my head and he sits down with his coffee. I smell his scent instantly and it triggers my senses. I know I need to leave before something happens. I quickly get up and bolt for the door, placing the book on a random shelf as I leave. The building is by itself surrounded by trees on three sides. I go around the right side and sit under this willow tree.

I sit there trying to get myself under control and calm down. But about five minutes later I hear footsteps. I start panicking again and I look up to see him walking around the corner. He is holding the book I was reading with a apologetic expression. I hide my face the best I can and try to stay calm. He looks at me seeing the look on my face and frowns.

"Did I offend you or make you uncomfortable, miss?" I look at him through my hair still trying to hide my face, he looks hurt. I felt really bad so I try to fake a smile and look like I wasn't freaking out.

"No, I'm sorry if I made you feel bad." He looks unsure but smiles anyway. He holds up the book I was reading.

"I saw you were reading this and bought it for you." Now I feel worse and don't know what to say.

"Thank you, but you really didn't have to do that." He looks like he doesn't know what to say for a minute. Then he smiles again and looks at me.

"I'm Ash, it's nice to meet you."

"I'm Luna, nice to meet you too." I try to ignore the feeling as it gets stronger. It was hard being this close to him. He looks concerned now so I must not be hiding it very well.

"Are you okay? You look uneasy."

"Yeah I'm fine. It's just.... I.. I.. Sorry I have to go." I get up and run to my car. I start freaking out once I shut the door. Then I calm myself down by the time I get home.

When I wake up in the morning I realize I left the book by the tree. After deciding I will just have to risk seeing him again, I go back for it. Hopefully it's still there and he won't be. But I go there anyway. I can't avoid him forever, I go there all the time.
