::Omniscient::

Grabbing her by her six-year-old hand, she had been being jerked up from sitting in her criss crossed position and now being dragged down the hallway, her eldest sister and little brother watching from the entrance of their rooms. Little Serenity began to heat up from the fear of what her mother was about to do to her. Her cheeks burned with heat of fire and her eyes began to water as if an ocean were to come up and flood an entire city. She looked up at her mother's figure, her body language only showed the signs of rage. Once Serenity and her mother were in her mother's room, the door was shut and locked, also with a small dresser placed in front of it. She pushed Serenity down, Serenity not being prepared for the collision of her body upon the rough carpet, her chest collapsed first onto the floor and she immediately let out a screaming cry full of pain. Soon enough, her mother jerked her up again.

"What I tell you about all that crying? Huh?!" Her mother yelled, slashing her across her tiny, kid-like back with a belt.

Little Serenity yelled once again, her back aching, literally screaming itself as it swelled with red wounds and nearly forming blood. Her mother, being one of a crazed attitude found it relieving to hurt her children when frustrated with personal situations or her kids in general. Serenity, the middle child, Saige -- Serenity's big sister, and Shane -- Serenity's little brother were all solid kids, their parents taught them correctly and their parents were as happy and sweet as can be, that is until a few things started occurring a few years after Shane had been born. Their parents began arguing a lot, their father being a hard working man and family oriented opposed to their mother whom had grown depressed over many matters of the fact.
Serenity always wondered what many of those facts were too, one of them were very evident and that was the fact that her mother felt as if she wasted her life by having kids so young, marrying and all. Of course her mother loved her father deeply, but the excuses and or demons in her mind said otherwise. Certain nerves caused her to rebel against her own children and sometimes her husband but rarely because he loved her too much to take anything she might attempt to do wrong to him. Serenity's father never was home to see the harsh accusations her mother gave out simply given the fact he was working of course. He was manipulated into believing his beloved wife; Serenity's and her siblings mother was modest and perfect.

Things for the children only went south as they grew up but it was quite a surprise that they all had the resilience to be better people than they were treated like in their childhood. Shane had grown to be one of the smartest young men for generations to come, and Saige could calculate numbers like nobody's business yet she was more so into taking care of animals and decided to be a vet tech. Opposed to Serenity, her warm heart and soul had definitely set her into taking care of people especially those that she loved, she never wanted to hurt a loved either and always did something to please them even if it was an uncanny act, she even obeyed her mother no matter how bad she was continuously treated. She had grown into a being of love and only wanted to enhance her heart into deeper things, the best thing she could think up of doing is learning how to understand; a human being.

Withe Serenity no longer having her assistant therapist job, it never phased her to stop learning what she already knew and add on to it. She often observed everything, to not only figure out the motives of others and where they came from but for herself too, she wanted to really grasp her intentions and understand why they were the way they are. Being in that psych ward had really set the old, sweet soul on edge. She never knew she could be this fearful of this thing called Life until actuality had set in her and as nefarious things happened. The oddest of them all, her nightmares. She often had been beginning to dream of her mother and her mother's state; no matter what she did or was doing, Serenity loved her mother anyways but always kept her thoughts, nightmares and all to herself.
