::Jacob::

It had been hours since Serenity's little fit over me. Work was just about to end for the night. I stayed in our work station by myself from the time they took her out of the room with me up until this point. Serenity came, Ariel following behind her. She grabbed her things, not looking at me once. On the other hand, Ariel stared me down as if to intimidate me but she couldn't scare me no matter how hard she tried. I'm the stronger vessel, she's a weak soul that puts on a front that I don't buy. I don't like her one bit and she needs to stop being all over Serenity as if they're together. As far as I know, Serenity has herself somebody and Ariel is too insecure to let her go just based on the way she sweet talks her. I, on the other hand am not insecure, I just had Serenity first and I can't stand to let someone else take her from me even if they are better for her. I have no reason to discourage against her now lover, Malcolm, but in a since she's still all mine and there's a reason to that more than anybody could function to figure out. She carries something special enough for everyone to admire her, and even for me I will admire her even more in the since of personal knowledge. No one is about to know of this thing that's about to hit them. Not even my love.

"Hey, Serenity." I said walking towards her.

"What do you want creep?" Ariel asked, standing in front of Serenity as if to guard her.

I inwardly rolled my eyes and chuckled. "What do I want? Well I'm about to tell you, I'd like to talk to my friend here so if you may so kindly step away from her I'd gladly appreciate it." I explained.

"You gone be okay in here with this creep Serenity?" Ariel questioned her.

"Yes I'll be fine Ariel, but stop with the name calling, we're not in middle school. We're grown people." Serenity stated, standing up for me while doing so. I smirked feeling my heart pound for her sweet tendencies.

"Alright, no problem, see you tomorrow." Ariel said, sending Serenity a smile, followed by a tight hug. She looked back at me as if to make of fun me for not being able to do the same thing. I shrugged her off again and looked to Serenity. She stood in silence, looking down at her little feet.

"Serenity, look at me." I softly demanded her. She obeyed. "Did I really scare you?" I asked.

"Look Jacob, I don't want to go through this again okay. I have to get going, this not worth my time if you're just trying to torture me." She explained, she began to turn away but I quickly grabbed her hand and pulled her into my chest.

"Listen to me. I'm not playing with you, I'm not torturing you or none of that bullshit you just said. You gone show me some respect ma, you know what I'm capable of and you know damn well you not that scared of me so stop acting out so others can save you. I'm all you got baby." In saying all of this, I squeezed her tightly. Her figure against mine as I looked down at her with my hand cupped slightly between her neck, where the crease separated her chubby jawline and her neck. She couldn't move and she knew I was right.

"You should really back off. What makes you think we'd ever work out again Jacob? I'm in a relationship, a good one actually, the first good one I've been in for quite a while. Before Malcolm I was with a psychopath and before that psychopath I was with a drunken abuser. Do you really think I could go back to what's bad for me?" Serenity questioned.

"Watch the words you use to describe me," I gritted my teeth, moving my hand down for it to be completely around her neck, firmly I gripped it to where it was tight but where she could still breathe. "And another thing, your drunken abuser is dead baby, I fixed that for you remember or did you forget?"

"No I didn't forget and even though it was of a criminal act, I still commend you for that. You saved me from him but are you gonna be able to save me from you and your mental stability or will you nearly kill me again?" She asked, stating very valid facts.
