He's staring at me with a sad look on his face and as he tilts my head to see where the man hit me, he looks away clenching his eyes shut. He pulls me into his arms as I continue to cry, trying his best to comfort me. His slender hands are stroking my hair and rubbing my back in attempts to calm me down. Swiftly and smoothly he picks me up and carries me down to the end of the alleyway walking over to where his van is parked. He places me gently into the passenger seat. He pulls off his leather jacket and places it on my shoulder. He shuts the car door so he can go onto the other side and get into the driver's seat. We drive back to my apartment in silence. I don't know how long the trip took because I fell asleep ten minutes after getting into the car with Namjoon. But now we're at the apartment and he has gently woken me.

"Do you want me to carry you in?" He asks me.

"No I'm fine.. Maybe" I say back as I exit his sleek van. I take two steps before the burning pain in my side comes back again. I wince and stop walking. Almost instantly Namjoon has placed his arm on my back under my shoulder to help me make the way to the entrance of the house. I hand Namjoon the keys and he unlocks the door. We enter and I basically collapse onto the couch. He races over me to me.

"Macey, Macey! Are you okay? What's wrong" He's asking. I groan and roll away from the sound of his voice. This is so weird that Namjoon is being so nice towards me, normally he can't stand being around me.

"Go away please Namjoon" I say as I wince as I try to start getting my dress off. He turns away as I go into my room half naked trying to get the dirty dress off me.

"Where's your bathroom!? I'll get it ready for you!" He yells out from the lounge.

"First door on the right!" I yell back. I put myself into a robe and grab track pants and a hoodie to put on after my shower. I make my way into the bathroom and shut the door behind me. He's laid out my hair products and body wash as well as laid down the bathmat and towel for me. I can't help but smile at his sweet gesture but the events of the night come rushing back to me causing the smile to fade and the tears start rolling as I get into the shower underneath the hot water. I scrub at my body getting every last inch of dirt off me while I cry in pain. After spending what feels like hour in the shower, I finally turn the tap off and dry myself off. I change into my clothes and stare at my face in the mirror. My makeup is all smudged and smeared across my face, so I gently rub it off. Now that the makeup is gone you can clearly see the purple/black bruise forming on my cheekbone. I brush it gently and instantly regret doing so. I cuss and exit the bathroom switching the light off. I tread through to the lounge and see no Namjoon. I continue on into the kitchen. On the bench there is a glass of water and an advil sitting on top of the note.

"Just gone to pick up a few things, sit tight and don't fall asleep. - Joon" it reads. I read the note once, not believing my eyes. Never before have I seen this side of him, and I quite like it. Not long after I finish drinking the water, the doorknob turns and in comes Namjoon holding several plastic bags while balancing dvds on top of it. He places the bags on the counter and the dvds next to him. Out of the bag he pulls out a big round container and places it in front of me with a pair of chopsticks.

"What's this?" I ask smiling widely at him.

"Kimchi noodle soup" he smiles. "I do know what you like remember, you're at my house nearly every other day" he grins. He continues to pull out several different drinks as well as a box of Bulgogi for himself. He picks up another box and places it in my freezer.

"Mochi Ice-cream, for afterwards" he says as he takes a seat next to me. We begin to eat our meal and the satisfying spiciness and the the warmth of the Kimchi surrounds my body.
