Laura's P.O.V

-LAURA'S HOUSE, BEDROOM-

Raini was still stared in shock after about 5 minutes. She took a deep breath.

Raini: So you...and Ross...did that.

Laura: Yes. I don't wanna talk about it...

Raini: And uh...how do you feel?

Oh c'mon! I stared at her sarcastically.

Laura: Oh I absolutely loved the idea! That's probably why I'm crying now!

I burried my head in my hands. She rubbed my shoulder.

Raini: Hey, I'm sorry. Look Laura, it's gonna' be okay.

I pulled myself up and was crouched on my knees.

Laura: No it's not! We have work later and I don't think I can face him!

Raini: Well you're gonna' have too! Laura, it's Austin and Ally, you HAVE to face him.

Laura: Why should I?

Raini: Because you love work! Just ignore Ross. I'll be here for you.

I hugged her. I loved how me and Raini were as close as Ally and Trish were.

Laura: Thanks Ray. (My nickname for her)

Raini: Hey you'd do the same for me right?

Laura: Sure. *smiling a little* So anyway...what scenes are we shooting today?

Raini: Uh...

She looked at the wall uncertainly, but not like she was unsure what we were doing, unsure whether to tell me..

Laura: Raini, just tell me *sighing*

Raini: It's the scene where you and Ross nearly kiss..

Laura: What?! How do you even know that?!

I stood up and started walking randomly around my room like an idiot.

Raini: Well I kinda' got the list of scenes sent to me and it definitely is one of em'

She held the sheet up. I walked up to her and snatched it off her.

Laura: Gimme' that!

I looked in horror at it. It said Final Scene: Austin & Ally Playing Piano, Nearly Kiss.

Laura: Oh god! *groaning*

Raini: Look Laura, stop panicking! Just uh..pretend it's someone else!

Laura: Like who?! Calum?! Pixie?! No way Raini! I can't do this!!

She straightened my shoulders and looked me straight in the eyes. It kinda' made me feel like I was talking to my mom.

Raini: Listen right now Laura! You CAN do this! Yes, mistakes happened last night but as Ally
says in...3, Partners and Parachutes..pretend it never happened!

Laura: Raini, she's talking about a little kiss! This is much of a bigger deal!

Raini: That's why you need to PRETEND! This is why we're actors you know! Please don't leave me, I promise I'll be here for you if things get too awkward. Just make it through that scene, please!

She looked at me with sad in her eyes. I felt bad. I couldn't leave her on her own, that would be mean. I eventually rolled my eyes and sighed.

Laura: Ok ok fine.

Raini: Yay! Thanks Laura! *hugs her* I gotta go now, I'll meet you at work and I promise I won't let you down!

She ran out the door happily, like nothing I'd said had registered into her brain.

Laura: Yeah. I hope you don't let me down either. *to herself sort of*

I shut the door, plugged the headphones in and ignored the world...until 6:30 pm.
