Ross's P.O.V

-LYNCH HOME, ROSS'S ROOM-

Laura looked into space like she was thinking. I didn't exactly know what to do here.

...

So I leant in.

I kissed her and she started kissing me back. I could feel things were getting quite heated but I couldn't have the same happening as it did last time. I pulled her closer towards me.

Soon, we finally let go of eachother. It was hard.

Laura: *breathing heavily* Um..

Ross: *same action* Yeah.. *laughs nervously*

She smiled up at me. Man, she was so beautiful.

Suddenly, we heard booming footsteps getting louder towards...my room? *confused*

Rydel: ROSS!

Laura&Ross: Shit!

As fast as a tiger, we both shot up off the bed. Laura went and sat on the beanbag chair and I sat in the seat next to it. I quickly grabbed the remote and flicked the TV on.

Rydel: RO- *opening the door, then seeing Laura* Laura...Laura, what are you doing in here?!

Rydel stood in the doorway confused. Laura ruffled her hair and laughed nervously.

Laura: Oh uh well, I came into see Ross..he kinda got in a confrontation with Riker..right Ross?

She wasn't lying there. Rydel and Laura's heads turned to face me. I shrugged back in my seat and nodded.

Ross: Yup.

Rydel: Oh...well you could have told me Laura!!

Laura: Sorry. *awkwardly*

Rydel: It's fine...

She turned to look at the TV and raised her eyebrows.

Rydel: Why are you guys watching...Smurfs?

Me and Laura turned the TV and our faces went red. Shit.

Laura: Ross was flicking through channels when you came in.

Ross: Yeah..I was. *nodding*

Laura was really smart with these things. I just seemed like the woman in the relationshi..whatever this was.

Rydel: Oh, okay! Hey Laura, you should make him watch a horror movie *winking*

Oh holy f**k no. No. No. No. No! My whole body stiffened.

Ross: Uh...well, I uh...Don't know about that really.

Laura: Huh, why?

She turned to face me and I gulped loudly. I could see Rydel folding her arms, laughing in the corner of my eye.

Ross: Well..it's not that I don't LIKE them, it's just-

Rydel: He hates them. *giggles*

Laura: Seriously? *laughs a little*

I rolled my eyes as Rydel and Laura laughed to eachother.

Rydel: Well I'm gonna' go. Laura, you sticking with me or Ross?

She glanced at me and then at Rydel.

Laura: I think I'm gonna' stay with Ross.

I smiled and blushed a little...

Laura: Make him watch a horror movie. *giggles*

....not smiling and blushing.

Rydel: Haha okay! See ya!

She left the room and closed the door. Laura stood up and went to go close the curtains.

Ross: Uh, what are you doing?

Laura: Duh. Picking a horror movie? Now what films have you got..

She went over and bent down by my DVD rack. The horror movies Riker had bought me in the past were..well for show.

Laura: Ooh, how about The Grudge 2?

Ross: *shifting* Uh...why don't we watch something you like, huh? *smiling a little*

She grinned slyly with her secretive smile.

Laura: Perfect. The Grudge 2 it is!

She walked back over to the TV. I sighed heavily. How fun this would be. Her seeing how much of a chicken I was!

Laura: ...Uh Ross? *turning around*

Ross: Yeah?

I went to stand up to get back onto the bed.

Laura: Can you help me? The wires have come loose. *awkward laugh*

I smiled. Ross: Sure.

I bent down behind her and my arms were laid over hers.

Ross: Okay, so you put the red and the yellow cable here, and the white one..

My voice started trailing off as I felt Laura slowly relax in my arms.

Laura: This is nice.

Ross: Yeah...

Laura: Ross?

She half turned around to face me, my arms still wrapped around hers, holding the wires into place.

Ross: Uh-huh?

Laura: Can I lay with you please? When we watch this film?

I sighed happily.

Ross: Of course you can Laur. Always.
