Carsons pov

We've been here at the silvermoon pack for almost two weeks. They are growing stronger and stronger. They can take down some of our weaker warriors. But not all. I still manage to come out on top ever time.

Things have been tense between me and a lot of the guys. Ethan and Avri are always fighting and arguing about me.

Also me and Jason have been getting worse. I keep testing his alpha title and it causes bad arguments. There was one time were it was so bad he had to be held back by Alex and Caleb.

When I was researching I found out that the queen and princess had disappeared about 17 years ago. The queen was later discovered to be found dead. But nobody knows about the princesses where abouts.

"Carson!" Alex shouted.

'Oh no. Here we go again.' Storm said in my thoughts. I rolled my eyes.

I blocked her out and then went down stairs to find my mom there again. All the guys are down here. And for once. Not one of them is fighting. It's like we have finally hit solid ground.

But I know it won't last forever. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I look back to find Austin staring at me with questioning eyes. I give him a reassuring smile. Then turn back to my mom and step forward.

"Why has it taken you over a week to return?" I question.

"I've been scarred to come back." She whispers.

"Why?" I ask in a guarded voice.

"One because I have news for you, and two. Because I've noticed your research you have been doing." She says looking at the ground. She looks back up at me and I still have a guarded look.

She snapped her fingers. Everyone and everything around us froze.

"They can hear, but they can't respond." She hesitated before continuing. "Please sit down." She said.

I walked to the couch and sat. She stood in front of me. She looked at me for awhile.

"Your so beautiful. And strong, stubborn, and smart just like your father." She said with tears in her eyes.

"Greg isn't-" I tried to say but she cut me off.

"Your real father, Carson. Greg isn't your real father." She says while not looking at me.

"What the actual fuck?!" I shout.

"Carson, your real father is King Jaxon. I was his mate. I had interactions with Greg before I met Jax, hints why Austin is Gregs." She says as she looks over at Austin.

"A couple packs had come to visit the new queen and princess. I had met up with Greg and he made me feel special. But I let Austin be the only reason he made me happy. I wasn't allowed to bring Austin into the kingdom. And when you were two, Greg kidnapped you and took me with him. I stayed here cause he was threating to kill you and Austin." She let tears roll down her clear, pale face.

She looked at me and then looked back at the guys. I could feel them all trying to mind link me. So I let down my walls.

'Tell her to unfreeze us!' Everyone shouted in my head. I winced because it caused me a giant headache.

"Unfreeze them." I said calmly.

She snapped her fingers and all the guys start to move again. Instantly they all get down on one knee in front of us.
