Carsons pov

My hair is now red. I went with the color I chose. The color Avri chose was blonde. I left it in the back of one of the cabinets in the bathroom.

He made me so angry. I get it he is competing with an alpha over me. But, Damon is my cousin. And I've just met him. He could die today and Alex would be in so much pain

Ugh! Why does all the bad stuff happen to me! I think to myself.

I keep thinking about everything and eventually I fell asleep.

I woke up to a knock at my door.

"Why did you wake me." I growl.

I hear a laugh and then my door open.

"You have some weird obsessions." Ethan says.

"Um.. I don't think that sleep, food, and seeing people in pain are weird obsessions." I say in a very calm voice.

"Only you Carson." He says with amusement in his voice.

"So why did you come here?" I ask.

"Since Damon is apart of the royal family I had to call your dad. He requested we all have a day of silence tomorrow. So no group training." He says getting serious.

"Don't worry. I'm not in the mood for people either." I say looking away from him.

"I heard what he did." Ethan says lowly.

"Don't rub it in." I snap back at him.

"I didn't come here to rub it in. I came to apologize. Because I was so persistent that I called you. I wouldn't let other people call you. I wanted to tell you, so it's some of my fault." He says.

I don't respond at first. I open my mouth to say something but nothing comes out.

"Go ahead Carson. I'm used to you yelling and punching me. I can take it." He says in a soft voice.

"You've really grown over the years I've been gone haven't you?" I say.

He looks at me quite shocked.

"Your not the player you used to be." I say. "Your mature." I laugh a little.

"When you left everybody knew it was my fault. I needed a Luna, Kayla was the only girl that would still throw herself at me. I never let her have a say in anything. And I tried to tell myself and pretend she was you. But I couldn't." He pauses.

"I never gave up looking. I knew you were with the shadow wisp pack. I visited one day to talk about my rouge issues last year. I saw you. I saw how happy you were and I knew I couldn't make you happy. You hated my guts. And so did a couple pack members. It hurt but I knew I had to let you be happy." He said giving me a small and nervous smile.

"Wow." I say processing everything over and over again. "You put my happiness before the pack. And my role here." I say in shock.

"Yeah." He says rubbing the back of his neck.

"While I was gone you've grown into a mature man and alpha. I'm proud of you Ethan." I say offering him a smile. I then give him a soft kiss on his cheek.

A light red color fills his cheek.

"Um.. Thanks Carson." He says with a weird smile.

"Alright well I need some sleep right now. See you tomorrow." I say before I lay back in my bed.
