Before this chapter starts I just wanna start off by saying how sorry I am for how long it has taken me to get back to writing. When I stopped it was because I was starting high school and it was wayyyyyy harder than I expected it to be . Plus I was at practice for three hours a day and I just forgot about the book.. Then I fell out of love with it, but I'm big on commitments and I promised a friend that I would finish it so here we are.
I had to do research for the book to make sure I remembered everything correctly I had to re-read it.. oh my goodness was it painfulllll. But I have ideas of new stories that I could write that I am more passionate about. But more about that at the end of the chapter.. any wayyysss. On with the story because I know that is the real reason you're here and not to read my life story :)

At 8 am the next morning the cars came for the two royal guards that lost their lives. But we weren't leaving yet, and I still had people that I needed to say goodbye too.
I put my foot down as I got done tying my shoe. I then looked around my multi-blue room. It was empty of everything I owned, besides all the furniture that was here originally. I thought about all the laughs I had in this place, and all the times I cried. I thought about all the wake ups Avri gave me which ended up in me being very angry with him. I released a shaky sigh and I got up off my bed. I reached for the door handle, but before I opened my door I slowly turned around to look back at my room one last time. This was the room I was given when I came here, this was the place where I had been healed of the scars from my old pack, this was the place I had learned to love myself.
With one last breath I turned around and exited the room. I walked down to the kitchen within the pack house and looked around at the pack as they were all grabbing food and sitting down to eat their breakfast. The emotions were all still very sad and heightened among everyone.
I grabbed my breakfast and then walked out of the room, I knew that I was supposed to be somewhere else but I liked the food from the pack house a little bit too much to say no to the bacon and pancakes. As I popped a piece of bacon into my mouth I then exited the pack house and walked next door the the Alphas house. When I got there I didn't bother knocking on the door because I could hear all of them on the inside. I opened the door and walked straight to the kitchen with a plate of food in my hand. I started to add more to it since I only had one pancake left.
"Seriously Carson, you literally knew that we had food over here but you just had to get your own." Caleb asked in disbelief.
"Dude, you know me, I'll still be able to eat a healthy serving." He thought about it for a second but he knew I was right. We both walked in to the dinning room where most people were gathered. Alex and Damon then walked in and sat in two open seats. Jason's mate was at the end of the table far from me seeming to struggle with getting her kids not to fling the syrup everywhere. Hannah was next to them trying to help out with the little girl who seemed a lot less rambunctious than the boy. Caleb was next to her just watching her in amazement knowing that one day they'd have kids of their own. My cousins were all sat in a row on the opposite side of the table. Kayla sat next to Demetri, seeming a lot less snarky. I leaned against the wall as I watched the way that everyone interacted with one another.
Even though my cousins were new it didn't seem like they had an issue making friends where ever they went. Well besides Katana, I'm starting to think that being socially awkward was a hereditary trait just on my moms side.
"You just going to stand there the whole time?" Jason asked from beside me bring me out of my thoughts. I looked over at him and I gave him a half smile.
"I was just thinking about how quickly all of our lives changed in just a short amount of time." I told to him truthfully.
"Ain't that the truth," he let out a little laugh but his eyes moved off of me and on to his mate and their kids. He had a smile on his face but you could still see that there was pain in his eyes.
