"Okay Ms. (L/N), we are going to wheel you to the exit and then you'll be picked up by your friends okay?" The male nurse said as he pushed a wheel chair over to the bed. He put his hand out to assist me but I waved my hand in dismissal
"I've got this" I said getting out of the bed and limping to the wheel chair. I sat in it and he wheeled me down the hallway and into the elevator. Finally... I was going home. He wheeled me out side to where max was waiting there with a black truck that I wasn't familiar with "Who's truck is that?" I asked as max opened the door to the vehicle
"I'll explain in the car" he said pulling me up and helping me into the passenger seat. He shook hands with the nurse and got in the drivers seat. "This is my new car." He sighed "We had to trade in our car and get new plates"
"Oh." I looked over at him "S-So where are we going" I questioned
"Our temp home" he smiled at me "think of it like a vacation." He said trying to reassure me as he drove
"M-Max. I don't know how I feel about this..." I admitted. This whole thing made me feel uncomfortable.
"(Y/N) I don't like it either, but it's the only option we can do." He sighed "But we are having a small welcome home party tonight."
I'm so so so so soooooo sorry I haven't updated. I'm on vacation and it's difficult balancing stuff. This is just filler so I can get to better stuff so I'm sorry if you didn't like it.
