The love project sequel (kellic)

Chapter 1

Recently Kellin and I had been arguing about everything. Right now we were sitting on the couch at my house watching Star Wars for the millionth time with Jaime, Tony and Mike. I had my arm around Kellin but he seemed really silent today and it was scaring me. I found myself wishing he would just yell at me or even say something. Just then, I felt his warm breath in my ear.
"Vic, can I talk to you in your room for a second please," he whispered.
"Sure," I replied softly and stood up to walk over to the door. Mike shot me a weird look as Kellin and I left the room, but I ignored him.
We climbed the stairs in silence and everything seemed so alien and strange. Our hands kept brushing ever so slightly and I kept wanting to intertwine our fingers, just to have some reassurance that it would be okay, but Kellin moved his hand away each time they brushed.
"Hey, Kell, what's up?" I asked, when we got to my room and I noticed the upset look on his face. I went to wind my arms around his waist to try and make him happier, but he pushed me away. At this point, I was confused and hurt and becoming increasingly scared.
"Kells?" I asked in barely a whisper.
"Look, Vic, I don't think that what we have right now is working....I...I think we should break up," he stuttered. This completely broke my heart. He had this facial expression for whenever he was trying not to cry and it was killing me because I just wanted to hug him and make the pain go away somehow. I shook my head my mouth falling open in shock.
"Kellin, please don't do this, we can work things out, together, I promise-" I desperately tried before I was cut off.
"Vic, that's not true, we've been trying to work this out for weeks and we're  getting nowhere," Kellin spoke, sounding increasingly annoyed at me.
"Goodbye, Vic," he spoke shakily.
As he reached for the door handle, I saw a tear roll down his cheek and I couldn't handle it anymore.
"Kells, wait, please just one last time," I begged in a soft voice.
He turned back towards me and gave the smallest of nods, knowing what I meant. I wound my arms around his waist pulling him into me. I pushed his raven hair back and leant in to kiss his soft pink lips for what could be the last time. I was crying when he pulled away and watched Kellin run out.
