PROLOGUE
My life was simple.
I lived in a small town, had a few close friends, good grades, great family. Simple.
One day in the mail I got an acceptance letter to Kingston Academy. The best school for the arts. It was a scholarship for the next two years. My senior years.
Could you imagine me, a small town girl going to the most expensive and elite performing arts school on the East coast.
Once my mother and I agreed that this was an opportunity I couldn't refuse, I decided that to survive, I'd hide in the back, make as few friends as possible and just let the years fly by.
But one guy refused to let that happen.
