Isabella's POV  (UNEDITED)

I chewed on my pencil as I looked over my chemistry notes. Boy, do I hate this subject. Helium, Boron, this subject makes me feel like a moron..  Ha, that rhymed.

Wow, I'm so bored that I'm talking to myself. Mentally.

"Bella... Bella.. BELLA!" Stacey shouted, jumping me out of my daze. The librarian came over to shoosh us before waddling away.

"What?" I whisper shouted at her.

"Whats up with you? Since yesterday, you haven't really been talking to us. Xavier wont tell us anything, and we know he knows something,"

I sighed. "Stacey, if I could tell you, I would. But this is something I think I need to handle on my own,"

She looked me over, before sighing and going back to reading her notes. I let out a sigh of relief and looked back at my notes.

"You know, they say sighing to much releases your soul," Michael said, taking a seat beside me. I poked my tongue out at him and went back to reading my notes.

Its 7am, Saturday morning and the gang and I decided to meet up at the library and have a quick study session before we all headed down to the beach. And now, I'm starting to regret it.

"Coffee, anyone?" Carissa said, sitting down across from me with a tray full of coffees. I jumped up and grabbed the biggest one, and greedily sat back down in my seat.

"Wow!" Zack said, taking a seat inbetween Stacey and Carissa, "Some one loves there coffee,"

"I dont love coffee- its 7am and I need this coffee," I retorted, taking a huge sip of the steamy hot beverage. "Thats better," I sighed, leaning back into the strangely comfortable couch.

"Hey, wheres Xavier?" Michael suddenly asked.

"Oh," Stacey said, sitting upright in her seat, "He said hes got a little errand to run before he comes." The group made littles 'oks' and 'whatevers' then the whole group fell into silence again.

A few minutes later, loud footsteps made us all look up from our books. Xavier stood at the end of the closest aisle to us, and there were books scattered everywhere- and the librarian was yelling at him. From here we could see the panic and embarrisement on his face as he tried to apologize. In the end, she shooed him off and began to pick the books us.

"Smooth, Xavier, just smooth," Michael joked. Xavier took a deep breath and walked over to the end of the table where us girls sat. He pulled a boquet of poppies out of his back pack and handed them to Stacey.

"Poppies! My favourite!" she said, as she smelt the flowers. He then put his hand back in the back and brought out a boquet of daisies and handed them to Carissa.

"Oh my! I love dasies!" she gushed as she observed the flowers. Then he turned to me and gave me his signature smile. Oh my, did he buy me flowers? Does he even know what my favourite flowers are?

He pulled out a single rose and held it out to me. I glanced at it and smiled and took it from his grasp.

"Why'd they get boquets and she only got a single rose?" Zack questioned as he gazed at the rose in my hand.

"A single rose has much more meaning than a bouquet of any other flower, or even roses," Stacey stated, as if it were the most obvious fact in the world.

"Oh, really?" Michael said, grinning and sitting back in his chair, "Now, why would Xavier do that?" Xavier suddenly began to blush and he sat down on the other side of me. I glanced over at him and smiled and placed the rose infront of me on the desk.
