Chapter Three

"So, what are exactly are we going to do with this photo?" I asked, sitting down on the couch.

"We are going to make hundred of copies and put them up all over the school," Stacey said excitedly as she bounced onto the seat next to me.

"And what is the purpsose of this?" I asked, putting my head on Staceys lap and letting my legs dangled down over the end of the couch.

"To humiliate him," Carissa shrugged.

"You say that like its so easy," I said, glancing over at Carissa on the other side of the room.

"It is that easy, big boys got a rep. People won't look up to him as much after they see this,"

"What about Amelia?" I asked.

"Shes a whole other story," Zack said, his eyes right on me. I gave him an awkward smile and looked up at the roof to avoid his gaze. Silly boy still thinks the whole 'dibs' thing is working.

"You see, we cant necessarily humiliate Amelia, the girls made of stone," Michael said, walking over and sitting beside Zack. Great now they both were looking at me.

"How so?" I asked.

"How so? Well we tried to get at her by plastering ugly photos around the school, but her minions pulled them all down before everyone woke up to see them," Xavier said, walking over to me and picking up my legs so he could sit down. He sat and put my legs over top of him.

I looked around the room and smiled. I've only know this people for about 2 hours yet it already seems I've known them my entire life.

"Have you ever tried just normal pranks?" I asked, looking at them all.

"Normal pranks?" Carissa asked, joining us by sitting inbetween Zack and Michael.

"You know, the good old pranks. Putting glue buckets above doorways, shooting goo out of her locker, just the old cliches' "

"No we havent. We thought we needed to go up and beyond to get at them but I guess that stuff could actually work," Xavier said. I turned my gaze in his direction and kept it there. Something about Xavier facinated me.

"Well, if you want to get at her with the harmless little pranks you pull, why not try something like that? If you sneak attack her, she wont have time to stop it,"

"Shes a genius!" Stacey shouted, jumping up from the couch, resulting in my head smacking into it.

"I wouldnt say genius," I said, hopping up and rubbing my head.

"Zack, Michael and I will plan that while Carissa, Xavier and Bella do the posters, ok?" Stacey said, walking over to the table.

"Sounds alright with me, come here you two," Carissa said, guestering Xavier and I to go to her. Xavier got up and put his hand out to me. I grabbed it and he pulled me up from the couch. We stood there looking into each others eyes holdng hands for a while. His eyes sucked me in and it was like I was floating in a green ocean.

Someone behind me let out an awkward cough and I dropped my gaze I took my hand out of his. With my head down, I walked away from Xavier and over to Carissa.

"So, I'll take the east side of the school and you and Xavier take the west and north, ok?"

I nodded, "What about the south?"

"The south is mainly the field and other sporting places, so it doesnt need to be covered,"

"Ok then, where are the posters?"

"Thats another thing, we still need to print them out. If we print them out in the library tonight, we can hang them up tomorrow night for Monday morning, that sound ok?"

"Sounds fine Rissa," Xavier nodded.

"Cool, listen I have to meet up with some girlfriends, will you two be ok printing out the posters?"

"Thats fine Carissa, we'll do that tomorrow morning," I smiled.

"Awesome! Guys, lets head up for some dinner,"

"Great, I'm starving..!" Zack complained as he walked out the door followed by Michael and Stacey. Carissa left and followed them leaving Xavier and I.

"We should get going," I said, not meeting Xaviers eyes.

"Yeah, we should," with that he walked out the front door, leaving me there by myself.

Gee, thanks.

"First Kiss?" Carissa asked Zack. We were up in the arcade, pigging out on pizza playing truth or dare.

"Jessica Longborne, 5th grade," Zack said, taking another bite of his pizza.

"Now, Stacey, truth or dare?" Zack asked.

Stacey smiled. "Dare,"

"Alrighty, I dare you too kiss me," he smiled an evil grin.

She shrugged and crawled over to where he sat. He closed his eyes and puckered up to kiss, she smiled and slapped him up the side of the head.

He opened his eyes shocked, and everyone cracked up in laughter.

"Did you really think that was going to happen? You poor boy," Stacey laughed and got up.

Zack pouted. "Thats not cool," he said, crossing his arms.

"I'm heading off to bed!" Stacey said, throwing her plastic plate in the bin.

"I think I might join her," I said, getting up.

"Oooh, why?" Zack complained.

"Well, by joining you on your little adventure, I never got a chance to unpack. I would like my bed to be made before I pass out," I smiled.

"You could always sleep with me," Zack winked.

"Only in your dreams sweetie," I smiled, "Goodnight boys and Carissa!" I waved over my shoulder before walking out and joining Stacey in the night.

She put her arm through mine and we began walking back to our dorms.

My first day at school has been great. Got great friends, in a great school. I think my time here is going to be great. Wow, that was alot of great.

If I'm in such a great place, nothing could possibly go wrong, right?

Wow, took me three chapters to get through her first day. Dont worry, the rest of the book wont be like that, just trying to introduce the characters well.

Ashten and Amelia make an apperance in the next chapter. Get ready for drama.. Ha.
