Dipper's (POV)

When the bus finally stopped at Gravity Falls, I was so happy I could hardly stand it. I couldn't wait to see Wendy again! I got off the bus and ran out to the forest. I ran down the path to Wendy's house and ran past all the trees. I could hear birds off in the distance and I smiled. I was happy to be back, but I did feel bad for not bringing Mabel along with me. My thoughts were cut short when I saw Wendy's house up ahead. My smile only got bigger as I knocked on the door. When I didn't hear anything in side, I knocked again. Nothing.

"Hey Wendy, are you in there?"

I yelled at the window of her house, I still didn't hear anything. I don't get it, is she not home? I sighed as I walked away from the house. As I walked away, I heard something crunch under my shoe, but I didn't care. 'I don't understand, why wasn't Wendy here? There's no reason why she wouldn't be'. A crazy thought then came in my head. 'Maybe she was forced to leave?' I gasped at that thought, and ran into the woods. Maybe she was taken there!

"Hang on Wendy, I'm coming!"

I didn't look up, and what I crunched on with my foot left my mind.

Wendy's (POV)

As my family and I came up the drive way to my grandparents house, I still couldn't stop thinking about Dipper. It just didn't seem right having a holiday without him. My thoughts were cut short when we hit a bump (Which woke up my brothers) before stopping.

"Okay kids, we're here!"

One of my brothers moaned and got out of the car. I did the same, and went to grab my stuff from the trunk. As I pulled them out, my picture of Dipper fell out.

"Shoot!"

"Hey, Wendy what's that?"

My brother asked in a suspicion voice.
I gulped and spoke up in a panic matter.

"Uhhh nothing, it's just you know, a picture of my friend from the summer."

All of my brothers moaned and groaned as Simon spoke up.

"Wendy, I thought you were pasted all this."

"Ugh I know! I know he left to go home, and I know its over, but how do you just forget about someone?"

"Two words sister, Move on!"

"Pfft, easy for you to say, you still remember that one girl who winked at you Simon!"

The rest of my brothers laughed, as I walked inside my grandparents house. As soon as I walked inside, I was trampled by my grandparents dog Lola. She licked my face, and I couldn't help but just laugh at the silly pouch. When she finally let me up, I cleaned my face, and I heard footsteps coming my way. I then saw my grandma and grandpa smiling at me.

"Wendy, it's so good to see you again."

"Hi grandma."

"Wendy, my favorite grand daughter, stop growing on me. You're only 13 after all."

"Grandpa, I'm 15."

I couldn't help but giggle as my grandpa said the wrong age. But when I remembered that Dipper turned 13 before he left made me sigh. My grandma saw this, and spoke up again.

"Oh Wendy, whatever is the matter?"

"I'm sorry grandma, but I've had someone on my mind lately."

"Oh, is it a boy?"

When my grandpa said that, I blushed. My grandma saw this, and smiled along with my grandpa.

"So, it is a boy!"

"Well, what it is his name Wendy?"

"His name is Dipper, and he is like my best friend."

I handed my grandparents the picture I had of Dipper, and they awed, and giggled. I blushed deeply before my grandpa spoke up.

"Well, he is quite the handsome man, if I do say so myself."

My blush only deepen as they continued to talk about him. After awhile I took the picture back, and unpacked in the room, my grandparents gave me. I sighed as I sat down on the bed. I yawned before I looked at the look by my bed. It was only 12:00. Dinner wasn't until 8:00.
I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
