Idea #11

Probs the first thing I've written without teenagers as the main characters.

"A lovely lady like yourself shouldn't be sitting all alone." He said with a sly smile. He sat himself down on the chair next the he and ordered her an apple martini.
"I actually hate martinis, I prefer a nice cold beer."
"Okay then," he tapped the counter. "Barman, change that apple martini to two glasses of nice cold beer."
He turned back to face her and delivered the wrist pickup line on Earth. "Did it hurt when you feel from heaven?"
"Wow, cheesy much?" She laughed. "Actually, it was pretty exhausting crawling up from hell."
"I guess that's why your so hot."

They both laughed, the air was relaxed.

"I'm Michael." He offered his hand.
"I'm Joanne." She shook his hand and revealed a dazzling smile.

The barman finally delivered their drinks and after a few rounds Joanne decided it was time to go.
Michael walked her out of the pub, and thanks to his dashing personality, he even managed to score her digits.

"I think someone owes me ten bucks." Michael announced to his posse of 2 (/3. idk how to say this, they were three in total, help.) "James, start saving up for the big sum." He finished proudly and sat down.
"You actually got her number?" James asked astounded. All Michael did in reply was nod triumphantly. "How? She looked life she had a stick up her arse. How'd you get her number in less than two hours?"
"The magician never reveals his secrets." He did however reveal his set of slightly cooked, but still beautiful teeth.

"That doesn't guarantee that she'll fall in love with you." Bradley said removing his eyes from his phone for the first time the whole night. "It'll take a lot of work before we give up that ten grand."
"You'll see, I've only just began." Mike promised.

This turned out crappier than I hoped. My excuse is....laziness. Soz.

Suggested Title: Kiss and Tell ( The Bet, but that's kinda straight forward.)
Genre: Romance (I couldn't help myself)
Possible Spin-offs: Right now we know that Mike is a clear fvckboy, but what if Jo makes him change his ways.  I'm not saying it'll be easy, but it has to be possible, right? I'm thinking that at the peak of their relationship, Jo finds out about the bet and dumps him. They continue with their lives, but just as she's about to move on...enter Michael. Somehow they get back together, maybe he could tell her all that junk about really loving her and not faking anything.

Ooooor. We could end it at Joanne finding out about the bet but still staying with Michael. But obviously trust issues arise since Jo has lost trust for Mikey and so they break up. And then they both move on. No sappy ending.

Ooooor, Mike never gets Joanne and she really has no contribution to the story, but he meets Mali and then something happens with her.

The possibilities are endless.
