Chapter 21

< 7 months into pregnancy>

Lauren POV

Camila is completly glowing shes so beautiful, but she feels like complete shit... i feel so bad that i cant do anything about it.. " Baby... how are you feeling today?"  i ask as she watches Tv and i cook " alright i guess.... " i sigh finishing up the chicken she asked for with avocado and i give her a plate " enjoy " i kiss her forhead and she thanks me digging in... i smile.. camila cabello- jauregui ... always happiest with food. i hear something crash on the floor and when i look i see camilas plate on the floor and her just with a blank expression " whats going on?" i come closer and camila's face scrunthes up " help me lauren... " she saysd with pain in her voice and i lay her down on the couch.. she holds her tummy seemingly trying to find relife " where does it hurt camz?!" she points under her stomach and i think.... THE BABY . i run to my phone calling 911 " my wife.. somethings wrong wit her and the baby.. i dont know... okay " i run back to camila and kiss her forhead holding her hand tight " dont worry baby girl... there on their way... 

After 10 minutes the ambulance arrived putting camila on a strecher and the girls came out of there loft " shit laurten whats going on?!" ally asks and i just bury my face in her neck with tears coming down my cheek " i dont know " the peramidic comes up to me " could you like to come with her in the ambulance?" i nod and run to the car with him " well meet you there!" dinah screams out and i nod.. i sit there watching the peramidics trying to figure out whats wrong with her... camila is screaming in pain. they put an oxegyn mask on her to soothe her but she is in total pain " it seems like the little one is ready to come out " the guy says to me and i nod... when we get to the hospital we run in .. they rush camila into the surgery room and the nurse stopped me " what are you to the patient?" she asks " her wife! let me threw!" the nurse is taken back and she nods " first we need to dress you " i look at her weird and she takes my hand putting temporary scrubs, a hair net, and a mask over my mouth, and gloves " okay.. we're ready" when i walk into the operating room i see the doctors preforming a C- Section on camila and she is knocked out... i stand at her head moving my fingers up and down her cheek " itll be alright baby " i whisper so only she could hear me " wife i presume?" one doctor asks and i nod " your baby is pre mature... for some reason he wanted to get out early, a very strong willed child but he is very weak" i listen to what he says then cvut him off " he is out already?!" i ask shocked and the doctor nods " yes we just rolled him out... you were in your own thoughts sorry Ms, we just needed to get him stablized " i nod for him to continue " alright well... as we stablize him we are trying to figure out if he has any medical issues as in undeveloped brain, heart, so on... it will take a while but soon you will be able to see him " i nod and shake his hand " thank you so much doctor " he smiles " it will be fine Ms. Cabello - Jauregi" he says while reading the name on the paper and i smile " they are stiching up camila as you see " he says point at the Nurse's at camilas stomach and i look at her kissing her forhead " she will be up in a couple hours.. come to the waiting room please " i smile and kiss camila one more time before walking out of the room.. when i get to the waiting room i see all the girls in chairs sitting around with worried faces " LOLO!" normani jumps up and they all turn and run to me " is everything okay?" mani asks and i smile nodding " Nathan just really wanted to get out already.. there stablizing him and checking for injury and stuff " they all smile " and mila?" Ally asks and i sigh " shes alright... there stiching up her tummy cause they did a C- Section but she will be up in a couple hours " the girls bring me into a big hug and i sigh letting go of the worries i had hours before as i was watching all the chaos " you want anything to drink or eat?" cynthia asks and i smile " maybe coffee.. but ill go with you " she nods and she turns " anyone else want?" everyone shakes there head and i walk down with her to the cafetria " your so brave laur " i smile " nah... i just.. i dont know, camila is a strong girl " i smile and she pats my back while serving herself coffee then handing it to me " im so excited to see the baby " she squeals and i laugh " i am too!... shes going to be a strong little one, i already know it " she nods and i put milk and sugar into the cup " ready?' she asks and i nod... we walk up stairs.

< couple hours later

everyone is so tired... i fell asleep for a while on two chairs..after a while i wake up and i see the girls surrounding the doctor and i walk up to them " whats going on?" he asks and he smiles " umm well Camila is awake " i smile and start to run over to the room but he stops me " shes very very very tired lauren.. she has been threw alot... and i also have news about the baby... but lets see her first " i nod and i walk into the room.. camila is looking at the sieling, she looks exhausted " baby?" i ask and she looks towards me and a smile smile appears on her face " lolo... come " i sit at the edge of the bed next to her and she kisses m lips softly " i missed you " i whisper and she wraps her arms around me " is he okay?" she asks and i nod " hes excellent.. from what i have heard " she smiles and the nurse walked in " now that i have you both up.. let us write his Birth certificate shall we?" we nod and i write his name in cursive ' Nathan Cabello - Jauregi ' .. under that had a line Mother - I wrote ' Camila Cabello - Jauregi then the nurse put white out on fater and wrote mother i smiled at her and she gave me a smile back and i wrote ' Lauren Jaregui ' .. " perfect " camila whispers and she kisses my cheek.. i give the paper back to the nurse and she smiles " ill be back witb copies " i lay with camila waiting and i trace her jaw line " are you sleepy?" i ask and she nods... the room is silent... i hear the machines beep and the door opens " here you go girls " the nurse hands us two copies of the Certificate and i get excited reading it over and over again .. i put them on the bed side table and camila fell asleep so quickly " Night baby " i kiss her cheek and stand up walking out with the papers in hand " okay Lauren... now to talk about your son " i nod and i give the certificates to Dinah and we all listen " he is pretty good, all organs are complete except.... his brain" i listen closely trying not to let tears fall " his break developed but there is one part of it - the cerebrum which did not develop  fully." i nod " what does it mean then?" he sighs and looks down at some papers then at me " well the Cerebrum controls initiation of movement, coordination of movement, temperature, touch, vision, hearing, judgment, reasoning, problem solving, emotions, and learning... so i fear that he will have a problem wit some of those but we cant tell till hes older and we do diffrent tests on him for each" i nod and he smiles " but other then that you have a pretty healthy baby boy lauren " i smile a little and he hugs me.. i guess i look like a need it and i honestly do " all those things, he can fix. but hes a strong little boy " i nod and he lets go " would you like to see him " i nod and she girls smile patting my back " you girls can come aswell " they all get excited as the doctor leads us into the nursuery.. there is alot of incubatiors .. he leads us to were nathan is in the front it says " Cabello - Jauregui " i smile and take a photo of the sign " okay, about photos just no flash photography " i nod and make sure that my flash is off... i get closer to see inside the incubator and i see a little baby.. he has a tiny blue bini on and a blue onsie.. hes streching his hands and we has wires all over him.. i see a drop of water fall on the glass and i notice its my tear... the girls surroing the incubator hugging me and looksing at him " hes so beautiful " i nod and get closer " hey nate.. your mommies love you " he yawns and we all say Awwwww! and i turn to the doctor " can i hold him?" he looks at nathan for a second then at me " yes but in the incubatior and you need to wash your hands really well cause he has almost no immune system right now as all babies " i nod and i go to wash my hands then he puts new gloves on me and i put my hands into the incubator.. i cant really carry him but i rub his tummy and he smiels " oh my god.. " i whisper to myself and the girls smie.. then i stoke his cheek and he does some baby noises and i gasp " guys... i have a son!" i say in a realization tone and they all laugh " hes beautiful lolo " dinah says while patting my back and i take my hands out " alright... sleepy time for little nathan " the nurse comes in saying and i sigh... we go out of the room and we sit in the waiting room " guys if you wanna go home and rest itll totally be okay... thank you so much for everything " i hug everyone individually " i think we will take turns... " i look at them weird and they all talk amongest themselves for a minute " okay Ally and Cynthia are gonna stay with you and were gonna rest up then come in the morning " i nod and hug them good bye then i sit in a chair and ally sits next to me.. i wrap my arms around her and she kisses my forhead " Everything is perfectly fine lauren... you have your family " i smile and hug her tighter " Thanks" cynthia sits next to me and i smile gettin up " sorry.. " i say and she giggles " no its okat " we all laugh and ally cuddles up to Cynthia and i walk around.. i find myself in front of Camilas room and i quitly sneak in .. she is knocked out.. i get into the bed putting her arms around myself and i wrap my arms around her " were gonna be alright camz... Our family is perfect " i hear her mumble something .. probably sleep talking and i kiss her cheek falling asleep in my Wife's arms <3
