N O S T A L G I C (incomplete)

19- A lilac night sky .

"Astin, Astin wake up ." A soft whisper says.
I feel a cool breeze suddenly hit me and I open my eyes, Im not in the comfort of my own bed, Im laying with two check blankets out on my roof.
"You sleep like a rock." Brett says with a giggle.
At first i dont know if i should be angry or not but then i look up at the stars and mutter him a thanks.
"Happy Birthday Astin." He whispers.
I turn to look at him and Im too tired to speak so i just offer him a sweet smile instead.
"You're my sun, my moon and all my stars Astin, I really love you, dont you see." He says with a genuine and serious look on his pale face.His grey eyes are dark and his pupils dialated. I stare into his eyes hard, studying it and kinda getting caught in the Milky Way I imagine to be there.
"Just hold me Brett, just hold me."
He sinks down to where im laying and snuggles up next to me. He holds me tight before asking if I read his card. I mumble a yes and the silence that follows seems as if he wants a better answer so I turn to face him.
"What happened to your sister?" I ask gently.
"I never agreed with them bullying you and I never will and I know it seems as if Im doing nothing about it and its just cause I dont know how Astin."
"Thats the thing Brett, they not your friends if they bully you into keeping quiet about such things." I say with a sulk. He just stares at me blankly, as if in deep thought. I lay my head on his chest and close my eyes. He kisses me on my forehead.
"You really wanna know why she's deaf?"
"If you don't mind."
"Long story short is that she was bullied through out her high school life and one day they really got mad and took her and beat her, they say she was full of blood, one of them did something to her ears but I cant exactly explain it and you could see the hand marks left after doing it. The impact was so hard after a while her hearing began to deteriorate and she became deaf." He says with a tear in his eye.
"Im so sorry Brett.Its not going to happen with me tho."
"How can you be so sure Astin?"
"Just, I dont know, dont worry."
He gives me the brow and i give him the dimple and then we just lie there on the roof in perfect silence, admiring the night sky with all its wonders.

I dont remember falling asleep. I search for Brett's phone in his pocket, we've been up here for an hour and a half.
"Brett wake up! We need to get back!" I whisper shout. He groans a bit but gets up and realises we still on the roof. He picks me up bridal style and we go back inside through the trap door thingy. He lays me down on my bed and then heads for the window.
"Brett, please sleep over and watch a movie or something with me."
"Yeah sure."
He makes his way back and gets under the blankets too. Its then that I realise that I still have my dress on, so I ask him to unzip me.He pulls down the zip slowly and when hes done I feel a soft prickle in my neck, he kisses me. I turn around and catch his lips with mine and a warm fuzzy feeling forms inside of me. His cold hands make its way to my face and mine to his waist, slowly i move closer to him, not breaking the kiss, until im ontop of him.He tucks a few strands of hair behind my left ear and he gibes me a wholeheartedly smile which i return with a kiss on his neck.

We are a lilac night sky at its best, so wondrous, screaming for attention yet so dangerous and mystical in what it hides. We fear it not we head into the unknown but we know what we doing at least I think we do. Lilac nights can be dangerous or magical but its what you make out of it. So we decide to stay safe, sfae from the unknown 🌌

"I dont think we should do it Brett." I say catching myself too caught up in the moment.
"I dont think so either." Brett replies and i climb off him to change into my night-T.
"Thanks for giving me the stars and the moon tonight, it was the best gift ever." I say as I climb back into bed.
"Wish I could give you more." He says putting his arm around me as we cuddle and decide to let slumber get the better of us.
