Ora woke up the morning of the Fourth of July early. She played the in the city's community symphony so she was performing in the parade that went through the streets on the Fourth. Being as it was Klaus had also joined the symphony. She played trumpet and he played saxophone. Their relationship really couldn't be any more intimate. Ora lined up in the grid arrangement of the other musicians. Her position was several rows away from Klaus so he was out of view.
And just like that, the group set off leading multiple floats in a large parade observed by thousands of citizens. Ora and Klaus played their hearts out at maximum volume.

After the parade, Klaus awaited Ora after she was done being congratulated for completing the entire parade.
"Hey." She was very shy about it. But that day she looked more beautiful to Klaus then usual. He looked her up and down in her black overalls/booty shorts, flag t-shirt, and red, white, and blue bandana wrapped around her fluffy pixie cut.
"You ready to go to the beach?" Klaus asked. Immediately Ora grabbed his hand, stood on her tippy toes and kissed him on the cheek.
"Of course I am."

Pulling up to the beach was instant deja vu for Ora. This was where it all started. It was about a month ago that Ora and Klaus shared their first kiss; a realization of everything that was in store for them that upcoming month of June. But today was July 4th and they weren't here to remember but to celebrate.
Awaiting her was a picnic table cemented in the sand with balloons and other birthday decorations. Klaus held Ora's hand and led her to the table for her to see and single cupcake with a candle, a letter, and a large bouquet of lilacs and morning glories.
"Happy 16th Birthday Ora." Klaus said subtly.
Ora blew out the candle and read the letter.

Dear Ora,
This past month has been an anomaly. I never realized how I truly felt until that day at beach. Your smile was brighter and your eyes seemed to look at me differently. Something sparked in me and I couldn't help but want you by my side at every moment.
I think that you are the most beautiful woman on earth and I am so lucky to have you. You helped me through a lot more than you're aware of. You taught me to love myself when I had given up on the idea.
You're my best friend, my partner in crime, and my whole world. Happy Birthday, I'm happy I could be the one you spend it with.
Love truly, Niklaus <3

Ora looked up from the letter to find Klaus holding a ring. Her eyes teared up and she jumped into his arms.
"It's a promise ring. I don't want you to tell me that we will last forever but I want you to promise to keep me in your heart."
"Of course!" Ora sniffles and slid the ring with the dark blue diamond onto her finger.
Klaus swept her off her feet and carried her over the shore. She squirmed a little as she knew his intentions were to drop her in the cold water. Which is exactly what he did. She sat in the shallow water with soaked clothing and yanked on his arms. He fell in on top of her, making a huge splash. He stuck his head out of the water and messed up Ora's hair by wiggling his hand on the top of her hair. Immediately she grabbed Klaus' ankles and sweet him under water.

The sun was just off the horizon and Ora, Klaus, Percy, and Simon were amongst large crowd sitting on a hill awaiting the Big fireworks that premiered the night of the Fourth. They sat on a large orange and white blanket, both couples holding hands and cuddling together. This night was a beautiful. Ora looked up at Klaus and through her glistening orange and brown eyes, he recognised that she was thinking about the beach earlier that day. The thought was mutual. Klaus tapped their lips together just as the first firework set off. It startled Ora and that made Klaus laugh. It was that night that sitting in Klaus' arms made Ora feel infinite. Things were always going to get better.

Several weeks passed until Ora's mother returned home. But Ora and her brothers awaited her arrival with little patience.
As soon as she arrived home and got situated, she brought the question up to Ora: "Anything new?"
Ora was in realization that her and Klaus' romance started after her mother had left and she had no knowledge about it.
Ora sighed.

<3 The End!!!<3
