Chapter 1

"Alex wake up it's time for school" my annoying mother screamed from downstairs .

"I'm awake!" I screamed back with an attitude.

I rolled out of bed and walked into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, washed my face and put my contacts in. I'm blind as a bat but no one knows. After my contacts were in I brushed through my long messy brown hair. Then I applied some foundation and face powder. I contoured my face then filled in my eyebrows. I finished off the look with mascara and winged eyeliner.

"Hurry up!" My annoying brother Jonah said

"Ugh" I groaned and walked out of the bathroom.

I walked back into my room and got dressed. I threw on skinny jeans, a black crop top that showed most of my stomach, and my belly button ring. Then I put my black converse on, sprayed perfume, grabbed my phone and back pack and went downstairs.  

"Breakfast is on the table" mom said.

"Not hungry" I said grabbing a water out of the fridge.

"You have to eat" she said

"I'm not hungry" I snapped and walked into the Living room.

"Do you need a ride to school" she asked following me.

I checked my phone and I had a text from my best friend Kyle.

Kyle
I'm outside we're walking today.

"No I'm walking with Kyle" I said getting up.

"You know how I feel about you hanging out with him" she did

My mother hates Kyle. She hates all my friends.

"I don't get why you hate him so much" I said rolling my eyes

"I just don't think he's a good influence" she said crossing her arms

"Well that sucks" I said walking towards the door.

I saw her roll her eyes and I walked out of the house.

"Good morning" Kyle smiled and said as I walked over to him.

"Morning" I said blankly walking past him.

"What's wrong" he said running in front of me and stopping.

"Nothing" I said trying to walk past him but he stopped me.

"Did I do something" he asked worriedly

"No." I said annoyed

"Then what happened" he said a little louder.

"Don't worry about it Kyle lets just go" I snapped

"Fine" he said moving out of the way.

We started walking to school in silence. I didn't mean to snap at him that's just how I am. I don't do feelings and emotions, that's not me.

We walked up to school and we were about to walk in when I stopped him.

"Kyle I'm-" I started saying but he walked away.

"Ugh" I groaned while Rolling my eyes.

I walked into school and saw everyone standing near my friend Cole's locker.

I walked over to everyone. They were talking about something but I wasn't interested. There's Riley, niki, Ashley, Dante, Blake, cole, me and Kyle. Niki and Dante have a thing for each other so does Riley and cole they just won't admit it. We're considered the "bad" group around school.

"We're skipping first period you in" cole asked me

"Of course" I said

"You okay girl" Riley asked me in my ear.

Riley's probably the girl I'm closest with. I don't trust many girls they're fake, but Riley's like my sister.

"Nope but ill tell you later" I said.

She nodded.

I mouthed I'm sorry to Kyle. He just rolled his eyes and looked down.

I looked the other way and saw this tall guy with short brown hair and bright blue eyes. He was wearing a white t shirt, a black and red flannel, ripped black skinny jeans and black combat boots. I have never seen him before but he was hot.

"Yo nash" cole yelled calling him over.

"How do you know him?" I asked.

"What's up cole" he said.

They did a little bro hug thing and then cole introduced  everyone.

"This is Riley Kyle Ashley Dante niki Blake and Alex" he said pointing everyone out "and this is nash" he said to all of us.

Everyone said their shares of hi's and hey's

"We're skipping first period wanna come" cole asked

I looked at him wide eyed. We never tell people about our spot or what we do.

"Sure" nash shrugged

"Ight meet us in front at 8:20" cole said

Nash nodded and walked away.

"What the hell was that?" I asked.

"What?" Cole asked.

"Making new friends now?" I asked with an attitude

"Chill he's cool" he chuckled throwing his arm over Riley's shoulder.

"Whatever" I mouthed to myself rolling my eyes and crossing my arms.

"Damn what's your problem today" Blake asked.

"Nothing" I said quietly. 

"You know your a lot more likable when you high" Blake said.

I was about to snap back but Dante stopped everyone "everyone chill out"

Me and blake fight a lot, but we always get over it and then we're cool.

I walked away and walked into the bathroom, I heard someone following me, most likely Riley.

I looked at myself in the mirror and fixed up my makeup.

"What happened this morning." Riley asked me.

"Nothing im just pissed off and in a bad mood." I said

"What happened between you and kyle" she asked.

"How'd you know something happened" I asked confused

"Because you guys are quiet and in a bad mood and you won't even look at each other" she said

"He's pissed off at me because I snapped at him. Hell get over it" I said telling myself and Riley.

"Gotcha" Riley said followed by the bell ringing.

"Come on let's go. Everyone will get over everything once we're all high" Riley laughed, causing my to laugh a little.

We walked out of the bathroom linking our arms together. We found the rest of the group and that nash kid and started walking to an abandoned car lot down the street from the school.
