Alex's POV
I woke up around 8:30. I rolled over and grabbed my glasses off of my night stand I slipped them on and then I grabbed my phone.
I had no messages yet so I decided to scroll through Instagram and Twitter. After awhile a text from Nash popped up.
Nash: good morning
Me: good morning :)
Nash: do you still want me to come by?
Me: of course
Nash: okay what time
Me: whenever you want
Nash: hows 11 sound?
Me: sounds good :)
Nash: okay see you then
I locked my phone and got out of bed I ran downstairs and saw my mom sitting at the counter on her laptop.
"Morning sweetie" she said looking up at me.
"Morning" I said grabbing juice out of the fridge
"Working today?" I asked
"Actually no I'm not" she smiled
Shit.
"What do you mean your not?" I asked
"I have the day off" she smiled
"Well what are you doing?" I asked hoping she wasn't going to be home
"Well I'm dropping Jonah off at a friends house then I'm meeting a friend for lunch then I have to take grandma to a dr appointment. After that I have a couple of errands to run. When I'm done with all of that I have to pick your brother back up and come home to pick you up because we're going out to dinner." She said
"What time are you leaving" I said ignoring everything else
"Like 12 ish why" she asked
"Because my friends coming over to help me with some school work" I said
"And which friend would this be" she asked smirking
"Um Nash" I said
"You've been hanging out with him a lot" she said smirking
"Yeah yeah why are we going to dinner" I asked changing the subject
"Because it's Cassie's birthday " she said kinda annoyed
Wow I forgot my cousins birthday good job Alex.
"Riiiiiight" I said looking down
"Make sure you're ready for six and you know Auntie she goes all out so dress nice" she said before getting up.
"Will do" I said as she walked away
I took my phone out and texted Nash.
Me:soooo my moms gonna be home until 12 ish you can still come at 11 if you want but yeah my moms gonna be home.
Nash:I don't mind unless you do
Me: no I don't care it's up to you
Nash: alright 😂 I'll see you at 11 Alex
Me: okay
I looked at the time and saw it was almost ten. I locked my phone and ran upstairs. I put my favorite playlist on shuffle and jumped in the shower.
