"Wanna talk about it?" Riley asked as we got in the car.
I shrugged.
"I really like him Riley" I said seriously
"Then go for it" she said
"I can't" I sighed
"Why can't you" she asked
"Because I'm just gonna end up hurt" I said looking down
"You don't know that" Riley said
"I do. I always get hurt" I sighed
We didn't say anything else. We pulled into Riley's driveway.
"Mom and dad are way for the week if you wanna stay the night" Riley said as we got out of her car
"Okay" I simply said
We walked into her huge house, kicked our shoes off and slumped down on the couch. for awhile we watched movies and ate snacks.
Then out of nowhere Cole walked through the door
"Baby!" Riley squealed and jumped up to hug him
I rolled my eyes
"Aye Alex what happened between you and Nash" Cole asked placing Riley down and sitting on the couch
"Nothing" I said
"That's not what it sounded like at the end of the day" Cole said laughing
"We kissed once and since then he's been acting like hes my boyfriend and I don't want a boyfriend so I told him to back off" I said
"He really likes you" Cole said
"He barely knows me" I replied
"Good point but you're not letting him get to know you" Cole said
"Because I don't want a boyfriend" I snapped
"Okay whatever" Cole said
"I'm going to bed" I said getting up from the couch and walking upstairs to "my room"
Riley has like four guest rooms and I always stay in the same one when I stay over so I call it my room now.
I curled into bed and drifted off to sleep.
Skip to Friday
The week dragged and dragged. I haven't talked to Kyle or Nash once. I haven't really talked to anybody except Riley. I stayed almost the whole week at her house.
The bell rang signaling is was the end of the day. Me and Riley walked out of class and walked to our lockers which were right next to each other. Of course when we got there everybody else was there.
"It's Friday night what are we doing" niki asked.
"Parents are away as usual you guys can all come to my house again" Riley said
"Yeah cuz that went well last time" I said under my breathe rolling my eyes.
"What?" Ashley asked
