Chapter 4

"Just leave me alone" I said.

Nash just nodded and walked back outside.

"Why would Kyle tell Blake of all people" I cried to Riley. "Why would he tell anyone"

"I don't know Alex. I really don't know" Riley said sadly pulling me into another hug.

"You guys okay?" I heard Cole ask.

"No" I said

I've been getting closer to Cole lately because of him and Riley. Cole walked over to the couch and sat next to us.

"Look you can't let what Blake says bother you. He's a douche and he takes things too far. You just have to ignore it" Cole said

"It's not even that. It's that Kyle told Blake something I asked him not to ever repeat. And out of all people he told Blake." I said calming down a little bit.

"Look everything will blow over and everything will be okay. I'll kick everyone out if you want and you and Riley can just have a night to yourselves" Cole said smiling.

"No it's fine. You guys go back out there and have fun. I'll be fine in here" I said

"I'm not leaving you alone in here" Riley said.

"I'm fine really. I'm probably just gonna go to bed I'll see you in the morning" I said hugging Riley and then walking upstairs to her room.

I slipped into Riley's bed and drifted to sleep.

Riley's POV
"I'm fine really. I'm probably just gonna go to bed I'll see you in the morning" alex said hugging Me and then walking upstairs.

I sighed out loud.

"Is she gonna be okay. She hasn't been herself lately" Coke asked me grabbing my hand

"I hope so." I said "she's been through a lot and she never really delt with it. She just kind of ignored it. Now I think it's all hitting here and she's breaking. I'm worried about her" I continued

"I am too babe" Coke said leaning over and kissing me.

We got up and walked back outside.

Kyle ran up to me so we were away from everyone else

"Where is she" Kyle asked.

"In bed" I said blankly.

"Riley I didn't tell Blake anything" he said

"Then how'd he find out Kyle?! I sure as hell didn't tell him" I snapped

"Look all I told him was her dad wasn't in the picture. I didn't tell him anything else" he admitted

"Why would you even tell him that! She trusted you. Trusted you more than anyone and you betrayed her just like everyone else in her life. Just leave her alone for awhile" I snapped and pushed past him, walking over to anyone else.

I sat on Coles lap and a tear slipped down my cheek. I whipped it before anyone could see. Kyle left, I don't know where Blake was but everyone just continued their conversations and drinking and having fun.

All I could think about was Alex and if she was okay.

"She's gonna be okay" Cole whispered in my ear and then kissed my cheek. I smiled at how he knew what I was thinking.

I looked over at Nash and he seamed worried. He really does care about her. And he's a really good and nice kid. I wish she'd see that.

"She's okay" I mouthed to him. Causing him to smile a bit.

Around 1 a.m. Everyone decided to go home. Once everyone left I went upstairs, crawled into bed and drifted to sleep.

Next morning
Alex's POV

I woke up around 8am. I checked my phone and I had missed calls and texts from Kyle. I groaned and locked my phone placing it on the nightstand.

I got up and walked into Riley's bathroom. I splashed called water on my face and put in my contacts. I looked at myself in the mirror. My eyes were still puffy and I looked drained

"Alex" I heard Riley call from her bedroom.

I shit the lights off and went back into the bedroom

"What?" I asked

"I just didn't know if you were still here or not" she laughed a little

"Of course I am" I said sitting back on the bed.

"What are your plans for today" Riley asked

"Nothing at all. How about you" I answered

"Wanna go get our nails done and go shopping or something"  Riley asked

"Not hanging out with Cole" I asked

"Not if we are" she smiled

"Sounds fun" I smiled back

"What time did everyone leave last night" I asked

"Around 1" Riley said yawning

"Did anything else happen?" I asked not knowing if I wanted the answer.

"No not really by the time I got back out there Blake had left. Kyle left after I flipped shit on him. And then Nash just asked if you were okay. Then everyone just drank more and joked around then left" Riley told me

"Why does Nash care? He doesn't know me he doesn't know anything about me." I said

"He wants to you just won't let him" Riley said.

I just sat there.

"He's a really nice guy. He's not like Blake or any of the assholes at school. He actually cares about people. He cares about you even though he barely knows you. That should tell you he's not as bad as you think he is" Riley said

Was she right? I mean he seams nice kind of creepy with all the starring but he's hot. Should I give him a chance?

"I don't know ill think about it" I said.
