I suddenly felt my heart leap out of my chest, I could not believe that she had actually found her way back here, getting here would have required more power than I ever would have known her to possess. I stood there frozen in my skin, unable to speak, or move. I remained stationary, unable to even form the words to speak her name.

I heard the clanking of metal behind me, and I knew my men were still prepared to attack. The ones that I had brought with me did not know of this woman, and would strike soon, if I did not give the order to stand down. I motioned to them to love their weapons, and they did so with great reluctance, but as they backed away, she started laughing.

" Good dogs, Y'all better be backin' yo selves up out my face!" She instantly smiled, as my men stared at themselves confused by her foreign tongue. She laughed again harder now, " I'm sorry y'all, I was jus' playin'." She walked towards me now, and I pulled her into a deep embracing hug.

" Celeste, when did you arrive?"  Arguson, whom had been completely silent up until now, came to embrace the young woman. " I have not seen you for ages, how have you been my child."

" I have been well, I apologize for my words earlier, I have been living amognst the humans to long I fear, and old habits die hard. Nathanial, how does this day find you?" She was smiling again, and I was so grateful for her presence here.

" Not well, Cameron has been taken by some Diamtri, and I fear the worst. You have been out scouting, did you perchance catch sight of her?" I was calm, but I knew Celeste, and she was trained as a spellcastor and hunter. If anyone could track her charge, it would be her.

" I have not seen anything yet, but mark my words I will find her. You men come with me, Nathanial you and Arguson stay here in case she finds her way back to you. If we are not back soon, come for us." She turned and took her leave of us, off to find her charge, whom she had grown to love.

Arguson and I were left alone now, and he immediately came to my side. He had a look of concern on his face, and I could tell he was upset. He kept looking at me like he wanted to speak, but then he would shake his head and walk away. I knew he was worried about something, but he would not tell me what. Finally, he ask me the question weighing on his mind.

" How, how do you know Celeste? We kept her very well hidden, and Sirus and I made sure that her training took place in the village. How in the realms, did you come to know her?" He was pacing, wildly. How did he know Cameron? Then he had lied to me, about not being sure she was my mate? I was getting angry and confused.

" So if you knew that Cameron was Sirus' blood, then why did you tap into my memories, why did you doubt me?"  I was enraged, I could not believe he had lied to me. I had been lied to by those I had cared for before, but this was torturous.

" I did not lie, I omitted certain facts. I had to tap your memories to make sure I was right. I had to hear the prophecy again, as it was lost to us sometime ago. I have never lied to you, son, I had to be sure. Now , tell me how you knew about Celeste." He was smiling at me now, and I looked in his eyes, and they told me that he was truly not lying to me. I exhaled, and then proceeded to tell him what he wanted to know.

" I had no idea she lived with Cameron until the first night Cameron and I drove to escape the Diamtri escape. Cameron's phone had been ringing non stop, and finally I answered it, Celeste was on the other end. I could barely understand a word she was saying, she was screaming so loud, so I tried to use a spell to calm her down. I must have said it louder then I thought, because she corrected me in my pronunciation.." I was laughing to myself, I remembered how she had gone from lunatic to Magortimi in seconds.

" I asked her how she knew the words in which I spoke, and she informed me that her mother had been a servant of Queen Nadia, in the Valley of Ogressia, and then she demanded to know my place. I told her who I was, and she apologized several times. She then informed me that she had been purposely placed as Cameron's neighbor, and that she was told, to protect her. Celeste had vowed at a young age to do so, and except for some years she was back home in the Valley, she had been with Cameron."  Arguson was smiling now, and laughing to himself.
