The entrance was obvious. It wasn't hard to find at all. The hard part was opening it again and entering. The three of them drifted to each other with their neon energy fields. They ended up suspended about 30 feet off the ground. Their eyes drift to each other and out to empty space; How were they supposed to do this?

"What now," Avrel says with a blank stare.

"How should I know," Nikal responds.

"Could we be wrong?" Aleissia offers.

"About what?" Avrel responds.

"About where the entrance is."

"She's got a point," Nikal adds. "I mean, it doesn't seem like anything is here."

"I'm gonna go back and check where Sevantei left. That seems like the most sensible thing," Aleissia says.

"Except we didn't trace the signal back to there," Nikal says.

"Could be hidden," Avrel throws out.

"Alright fine. Aleissia, I'm coming with. It'll take both of us to find it if it's hidden."

Nikal and Aleissia flutter down to where this all happened and start searching. Avrel watches them then turns back to the seemingly pointless and empty spot. He decided there was no use staring at it (even though he technically couldn't), so he lifted up his arms right in front of his chest. Condensing the blue around his right hand, he reaches out with an open hand like a loose grip on a oblong baseball.

Expecting nothing, he ended rather surprised. It felt as though his hand and the spot were magnets, both with north poles facing each other. He pulls away. The feeling dissipates. Avrel turns around and opens his mouth, but withdraws, as all he would do is bring them back to stare blankly at the point again. Grimacing awkwardly, he attempts to grab it again.

Is this really all I need to do? he thinks. His arm extends again, energy rotating around his hand and wrist all the way to mid forearm. The repelling force acts out again, but Avrel persists. The field gets stronger and stronger. Avrel's hand starts burning.

Obviously, when your hand starts burning, you shove your other hand in, right? I think we all know the logical answer to this

Of course.

In comes Avrel's left hand. A stupid decision, but one Avrel couldn't take back. His left hand burns now, too, but the intensity altogether is much stronger now. He felt it on the rest of his body, now as well. The pain was several times greater. But his hands were in a death grip now, actually holding onto the object of which he couldn't see. Struggling to just stay alive, he unintentionally lets go some of his internal energy. Extra blue washes around him.

It nullifies the burning! Avrel discovers.

He forces the energy within him to surround him. The burning is intensifying, but now the brunt of the burning is focused back to his hands. He turns to call out and get the girl's attention, but as soon as he gets out the first noise, the burning returns. AGH! He turns back and redistributes. Shit. I guess I'm locked with you. Avrel wasn't sure how they hadn't noticed him yet, but they hadn't, so he had to do something.

New plan, Avrel thinks. Blue energy jettisons away from Avrel's body and his torso gets bombarded with burning radiation. Please notice.

Nikal and Aleissia split up to see if they could find anything from the original source or the area surrounding. Aleissia thought she had just found something when, just barely missing her, blue energy smashes down against the ground, tossing rocks all over. Aleissia jumps and shrieks, but looks up at Avrel to see why he would try to hit her. But it was difficult to see Avrel at all. There was no form visible, only the blue 'flaming' orb, which was very translucent itself.
