Chapter 4:Uriah friends or more?

Uriah's POV
As soon as Tris pulls away I feel something missing from me. For a while she is just sitting there when I realize she is wearing black. Then I ask, "Hey how come I haven't seen you around dauntless before?" Tris has a shocked look on her face looks like she is trying to think of an excuse. "Tris I just poured my heart out to you I think you can trust me. In fact I feel hurt that you don't!" I put my hand on my heart in mock shock, she giggles at this. Man I love her laugh. "Well in my defense I just met you." Tris says takes a deep breathe but then says, "But I guess your right I can trust you if you trust me." She takes a deep breathe and say, "Here we go" mocking me from before, "So my step-father beats me all of the time and I think it is because he had a son that transferred to dauntless last year. After that he was heart broken until he found my mother. He was so in love with my mom but didn't like me because apparently 'I'm a worthless piece of crap'. His words not mine. Well my mother and brother left for amity a few days ago to help harvest crops." She sees a confused look on my face and says, "Oh yeah I'm actually abnegation." She says a little ashamed and blushes but keeps going. "So today when after I got dressed he was pounding on my door yelling at me to make breakfast. So I do so. After I make him breakfast I back to my room and sit on my bed and he comes in running at me and I am terrified.  After he gets to me he starts punching and kicking me just making sure to avoid my face, probably so my mom won't know he did it. And as he is beating me he is yelling 'I don't want to stay here with this worthless piece of crap for another month' that's when I put the pieces together and figure out my brother and mother are staying in amity for another month. Once he is don't beating me, he goes to work I start think 'why am I in this house if no one cares about me' so that's when I decided to change into my dauntless clothes I bought from the pit a while back-" "wait," I interrupt her, "how did you get into the pit?" "I used to go to dauntless all the time and no one really noticed me. So back to the story!" She says, "After I change I jump on the train and decided to ride to the fence and then leave but then I heard you so now I am here." She says. Then I think, I am the reason tris stayed. On the inside I am throwing a party in my head. I think tris noticed my excitement and says, " slow down tiger I'm not sure if I'm not going to the fence or not yet." "Tris you have to stay wait, how old are you?"  "16" tris says. By now I'm am loaded with excitement. "Trissy Poo you have to pull trough 2 more months and then you can get away from your step dad!" Tris has a thinking look on her face then says, "first off don't call me Trissy poo. And second I'll think about it but I have to get back to my house because Marcus gets back." "OH MY DAUNTLESS CAKE MARCUS THE LEADER OF ABNEGATION IS YOUR STEP-FATHER!" She looks down and nods. Tris it will be fine it's just two more moths and then you'll be out of there." She nods and gives me one last hug getting up to catch the train coming down the track. After she is gone I walk home to see my brother and his girlfriend shauna sucking each other's faces on the couch. "Gross dude get a room!" They both look at me smirking and zeke says "I saw you in the woods hugging a girl." He says wiggling his eyebrows. "Look dude tris just came and talked to me and calmed me down and ALL we did was hug." In the back of my mind I am sad about the last part. "Ok" zeke says and puts his attention back on shauna and I'm officially grossed out and go to my room.
Tris's POV
I think about that Uriah said and I'm going to try and last two more months with the maniac. I'm doing it for him.
