The whole day was pretty much like really boring and irritating. Boring because we didn't have anything to do. And plus we didn't really find any demons except for Amanda. Also the day was so irritating because almost every single girl followed Jace around like lost puppies, giggling or whispering if he talked, laughed, looked at them, sat, or even BLINKED!
But I admired all the girls that didn't even bother to acknowledge him. I hung out with Cameron all day a he gave great company. But Jace and I haven't spoken a word to each other since this morning.
At the end of the day I walked right past Jace and on the sidewalk on my way to the institute.
"Why are you mad right now? You don't have the right to be upset. On the other had I do." Jace called from behind me. I stopped and turned around to look at him but wasn't very hard because when I did he was right in my face. Anger clearly written all over his features.
"Why do you have the right to be upset right now? You were the one flirting with every single girl you laid your eyes on! Plus you were to busy flirting that in our first class you didn't even notice that your 'girlfriend' Amanda was a demon!" I sort of yelled while using my fingers to put quotations around the word girlfriend.
"You are so lying right now! You are just trying to make up a reason to be mad even though you were the one flirting with that dude Cameron." He said with disgust lingering in his voice. I scoffed and turned back around fast-walking to the institute gate and running in. I threw my bag on the marble floor along with my shoes. I looked to my left and saw Church staring at me with sleepy eyes.
"Hey Church." I breathed, bending down and petting him. I ran off to my room and plopped onto my bed face first, almost falling asleep until I heard my door open and close and a object sitting next to me. I lifted my head up to see Hodge with accusing eyes. I groaned loudly as I saw Jace standing behind him with his arms crossed.
"Really you told on me like a kindergardener?"
"This is serious Kylie. You and Jace were supposed to be sticking together." Hodge said solemnly.
"Then why are you talking to me about this!? You should be yelling at him or talking to him! He is the one that left me for all those girls that were following him around!"
"You still didn't try to-" I cut Hodge off by lifting myself off the bed and out of the room. I ran down the hall towards church and picked him up and started running again into the green house.
