Cassie POV

2 weeks later

Alexus went home yesterday and none of us are allowed to visit her. Her mom said she doesn't want it happening again. Alexus is on crutches because she can't really walk right with her surgery on her lungs. She spends almost all day locked in her room except when Chris and Lanna are gone. She's barely aloud to go on her phone. Lanna broke up with Blake for Alexus. She didn't think Alexus could have a boyfriend. Blake tried to kill himself. He can't handle the fact that their not together. He loved her so much. Almost every night he adds more cuts. I always have to talk him out of killing himself. We haven't told Alexus because we don't want her to worry. She would possibly try to kill herself over him. Every time she texts us she's crying about something. She's tried to talk to Blake but her texts never go through. She cried so much. Especially when she found out about what Lanna said to Blake. She was a bitch.

*this is what Lanna said to Blake*

Blake. We need to talk about us. I don't think were working out. Its just not right. I only ever dated you because I felt bad for you. I'm sorry I'm just now telling you this. I never loved you and I'm sorry I ever lied. What I'm saying is that I'm breaking up with you. I don't ever want to talk to you again so please don't try to text back. Goodbye Blake.

Alexus didn't know until I asked her why she would ever do that to Blake. Alexus and Blake are meant for each other. They love each other so much. Blake liked her so much that she was afraid to even ask her out at first. He was afraid of having his heart broken by her. If someone ever told me that they loved someone more then Blake loved Alexus I would laugh in their face. Its not possible.

My phone buzzed and I looked down.

Help me. Cass, Chris is trying to get into my room. He has a gun. If u can could u please get someone to help me. If u have to can u get Alexus's closest and I'm scared. Please help me.
I couldn't process what was happening at first. I called Blake.

Blake go to Alexus's house Chris is he's just go to her house quick please.

Cass what's wrong? What's Chris doing?

Me
He has a gun. He's trying to kill Alexus hurry!!

I hang up and run to grab my keys.
I quickly started my car and drove. I luckily hit every green light. I made it to Alexus's house in about 10 minutes. Blake was already there.

Of course. He lives like 5 doors down.

I park my car in front of her house and run inside. Chris's car is gone. That means Lanna took it, Chris left, or there both gone. Lanna doesn't have a car. In fact, she doesn't even have a drivers license. I run up to the door and punch the four digit code to unlock the door onto the keypad. I quickly open the big door and run inside. I ran up the tall staircase to see alexus's door wide open. I walked in and she was sobbing in the conner. Blake was calming her down.
