Broken

I wake up and ach even more then before. "Ok good your finally awake. Nod if you can hear me." A man says. I figured it was the doctor. I nodded. "Okay let me tell you why your in here. At about 5:36am last week on Sunday, your friends called 911. When they brought you here your lungs were collapsed and we thought you were dead. We brought you to the ICU and hooked you up to this machine." He said pointing to my mask. "It gives you oxygen and basically breaths for you. It can not come off your face until we are for sure that you can breath by yourself. Your throat is very swollen and bruised. Your friends told me that you just came to Cassie's door and you were hyper ventilating and they don't know what happened. I'm gonna leave now and go get your friends. They've barley left the hospital this whole week." He says and leaves the room.

I've been here for a week?

Three people walk in the room. "O my god. Alexus!!" The girl screams. "O my god!!" The boys scream. They all hug me. I figured the people in the room were Cassie, Blake, and Jake. "What really happened you guys?" I asked in a weak voice. They all looked at each other. "Well you said good night and all the sudden you started hyper ventilating. We tried to shake you so you would wake up but you wouldn't open your eyes. I tried to get you to sit up right and get your breathing normal again like your dad tought me. It didn't work. All the sudden you stopped breathing and you didn't have a pulse anymore. We called an ambulance. And they tried to restart your heart. They gave you a oxygen mask and trued to get you to breath again. You didn't budge. You were dead until we brought you to the hospital and you've been in a coma. You just woke up yesterday. You woke up and tried to escape. Blake came out to us to get you but it was like it wasn't even you. You started hyper ventilating again and they realized you weren't able to breath on your own. They gave you something and you feel back asleep. They did surgery on your left lung. Your ribs were broken and priced you lung. They removed about three bones from your left rib cage. You've been out the rest of the night and now your awake." Cassie says. I looked down at my side. It was stitched up. "I don't know what to say about that. I honestly don't know if its good that I'm still alive or not." I said looking down. "I would slap you, but your in to much pain." Blake said. Cass and Jake nodded.

"This stupid mask thing is so uncomfortable." I said. I moved it off my face for a second and got some real air. It made my lungs hurt. "You have to be fucking kidding me." I said. I wanted to get up but I couldn't move. I'm gonna go back to sleep. "Ok, but I'm gonna lay with you." Blake said. He came over and I scoched over and layed on my side. Blake layed down and spooned with me. "I love you he said." He whispered in my ear. "I love you way more." I say. "Nope." He said. "Yup." He said we argued back and fourth until I fell asleep.

I woke up and everyone else was sleeping. So I opened up my phone. I had a lot of texts and snap chats. I opened up Snapchat first. I watched all my story's. I opened Jakes and saw a picture of me and blake sleeping. "Really Jake?" I whispered to myself.

Blake wraps his arms around me tighter and he moves a little. "You awake?" I ask. No one answers me. My phone lights up signalling I have a text. I open it up. It's from Ash.

Ash
Hey we haven't talked in while. What have u been up to?

Me
We haven't talked in a while for a reason. So I'm gonna go bye.

Ash told me to go kill myself when I told him I started dating Blake. I told Blake and he told me to block him. I couldn't bring myself to do it so I just never answer him. For some reason I felt the need to now.

Ash
Please talk to me. I only said that once. Are u still dating that doush?

Ash, u said that more then once. And Blake is not a doush. He's sweet and kind. He's probably the best boyfriend I've had in a while. For fucks sake. He's a better boyfriend then you would ever be.

It took a while for ash to open the text, but when he did he just let it in read. I didn't really regret what I said it felt good.

I got a couple texts from ash but I ignored him. I layed my phone down and snuggled up next to Blake. I fell back asleep quickly but then I woke up to the doctor coming in to give me my pills. I woke Blake up while I was at it but we both feel back asleep closer then we were before.
