Episode 4: Detention, New Friend

'Mitsuki, please stay out of trouble and be responsible while I am gone. I have my eyes and ears there so don't think you can do something without my knowing. Uryu is there to help you with anything you may need so don't be shy to ask, I expect all your school and homework to be up-to-date with at least a B when I return. I will be gone for at least a week handling a Deal between The Company and a rival Corporation. I'll be back soon.

Mitsuki sighs as she stares out the window thinking about the letter Byakuya left for her. "It's not fair, he's only two years older than me yet he gets to take care of all the family affairs and I'm stuck here... in detention."

"Yeah, but you're here with me." Izumo laughs walking in and taking a seat next to her.

"Somehow I don't think that'll make it better when Byakuya finds out." Mitsuki closes her eyes and slumps back in her chair.

Soon enough Yasuo enters the Room, accompanied by a teacher "Just stay in here and finish your work Yasou, Detention is an hour maybe next time you will think twice about coming to class late and with no homework." Ms. Waller scolds

"Y-yes, Ma'am I will" Yasuo sighs taking his seat and pulling out some papers "Time to get started."

"I'll be back in an hour, stay out of trouble you three" Ms. waller warns leaving the class

"Three?.." Yasuo looks back, and gets goosebumps 'Oh....great...' he thinks to himself with a nervous sigh.

Izumo nudges Mitsuki in her side with her elbow, "Hey, look who just walked in." She whispers.

"Huh? Who?" Mitsuki says opening her eyes and looking over to where Izumo is pointing, "Well, detention finally got a little bit better." She says with a smile.

"One: I'm going to pretend you didn't say that, and Two: you should go talk to him, not like you're going to actually do your work here." Izumo says encouraging Mitsuki.

Mitsuki shakes her head, "Hey! You don't know that, what if I was?" She laughs, "But seriously, I've already tried... twice. I think I weird him out."

"I guess I'llllllll just have to be your wingwoman than." Izumo says giving her a wink as she moves towards Yasuo.

'Dammit, maybe if she had a boyfriend she wouldn't be so persistent.' Mitsuki thinks turning to face out the window, not wanting to watch.

Izumo slides into the seat next to Yasuo, "Hey, I saw you at the mall the other day right? You're Yasuo?"

"Uh..yes, I am" Yasuo pulls out a pen and begins working on the homework he didn't finish, not even glancing at Izumo 'oh..Just, leave me be, please..' he thinks to himself focusing on work.

"Well I'm Izumo, you know my friend Mitsuki." She says pointing behind her at Mitsuki who pays no attention, "And I was just wondering why you act kind of weird around her, no offense. It's because you think she's cute don't you?" Izumo asks leaning in closer to him.

"That's not it.." Yasuo shakes his head, hiding a tiny red tint on his cheeks "I don't want anything to do with her or you, at the moment. 'No offense' but I have work to do" he brushes Izumo off quickly returning to his work.

Izumo blinks slowly staring at him as if she didn't hear what he said and then walks back to her seat next to Mitsuki "Well that was... rude." She mumbles sitting down.

Yasuo sighs trying to focus on his work, as the clock continues to tick with each passing second getting slower and slower, and the hour becomes more boring than before.

Mitsuki sighs "If I didn't think I'd get in even more trouble with Byakuya, I'd so be out of here."

"There's nothing to do in here, and he wants to be a buzzkill." Izumo says glancing at Yasuo speaking loud enough for him to hear.

"Just ignore them Yasuo, finish your work." Yasuo tells himself trying to keep his own spirits up 'The Faster and more Sophisticated I'm done, the better impression I make on Ms. Waller for not doing my work earlier.'

"Don't you want to have just a little fun?" Izumo says looking towards Yasuo, "I mean come on that bookworm routine has got to get boring."

Yasuo rubs the back of his head "Maybe, you should do it sometime. Helps me get through life, since I actually care about my grade." he sighs clearly not able to think because of Izumo "I can barely concentrate with you, interrupting me every few seconds...no offense but is your friend always like this?" He questions Mitsuki

"You get use to it, besides you were kind of rude to her, and to me well.... I'm not really sure what your problem is." She shrugs her shoulders as if she doesn't care and leans back in her chair.

"My problem?" Yasuo sighs and looks back at them. "My problem is, Im stuck in a school Im not even supposed to be in, On my first day in a foreign land and Foreign school I get threatened by an Enraged Wolf that is your brother over an accident. I try my best to keep away from you, but I see you everywhere I go only making me feel worse that your brother is out there wanting to kill me. And Now I have detention for being late and not having my homework ready.....and now that im trying to get work done, its like there's some kind of Force pulling us together, because im supposed to be avoiding you, but now im stuck in a class room for an hour with you and your friend.." he huffs out facepalming "and now Im rambling..Im sorry, I ramble sometimes, forget I just said that.."

Izumo raises an eyebrow a bit surprised, "Huh, so blondie does have a bit of a bite afterall. Who would've thought."

Mitsuki playfully pushes her arm a little, "Come on, I think we could let up on him just a little." She says giving him a smile.

Izumo rolls her eyes, "Okay, okay, I'll let up on him but only because you're crushing on him."

"Stop saying that, I am not!" Mitsuki testifies looking the other way as her cheeks turn just slightly pink.

Yasuo looks forward hiding his blush "A-arigatou." he lets out with a smile.

"Don't mention it." Mitsuki mumbles not looking towards himle

After a few minutes, Ms. Waller finally enters "Alright, Detention's over early because well Im bored walking around the halls so you three are free to go now..." she chimes leaving again.

Yasuo stands up packing his things "Finally" he sighs in relief.

Mitsuki walks over to Yasuo, "Don't let my brother haunt you okay? I promise he's not that bad and I can typically keep his temper down. Besides, I wouldn't let him hurt you." She smiles "What do you say we become friends? It'll make being at a foreign school at least a bit easier."

Yasuo thinks on it for a second 'Well, I guess I could try.....she is quite...a-attractive' he shakes his thoughts away and nods "Okay, I guess that could work" he smiles at her extending his hand "Let me introduce myself formally then, My name is Yasuo Soma of the North.."

'The North?' Mitsuki thinks to herself 'That's ironic.' She shakes his hand "Mitsuki Hayabusa of the Hayabusa Wolf Clan."

Yasuo grips her hand and bows kissing it lightly "It's a pleasure to meet you formally, Mitsuki Hayabusa.." he smiles kindly at her as Izumo snickers in the backround 'Lovebirds...' she whisphers.

Mitsuki blushes looking away "N-Nice to meet you too."

Ever since that day, a New 'Friendship' bloomed but a Dark Storm approached...
