Episode 2: Untimely Appearance

--The Next Night--
An alarm goes off loudly as Mitsuki who fell asleep at her desk wakes up, looking around frantically. 'Huh? I fell asleep?' She picks her head up and looks down at the book she was using as a pillow along with multiple papers scattered on the desk. 'Damn it, its all this work, as if school wasn't enough Nii-san had to go and add extra as "punishment".' She thinks to herself mocking his voice in her head. She glances at the alarm and her eyes widen comically 'I'm going to be late if I don't hurry! Then Nii-san will really kill me!' She quickly runs around her room getting ready.

Byakuya waiting at the entrance of the school looks at his watch calmly "She has three minutes.....If not well I guess she loves after school, after all that and a solid grounding should teach her some responsibility for once in her life" he sighs looking up at the School "Im not sure what it is? But, Im drawn to this school..." Byakuya says to himself 'Let's hope Mitsuki, though I doubt it will make it in time'

Izumo waves at Byakuya "Hey! Heartless, Where's Mitsuki?" She questions walking up to him

"Running late as usual.....and Im not Heartless...." Byakuya spits back

"Heart-less...maybe you should make that your middle name" Izumo giggles

"Maybe, 'You' should keep quite and go to class before I get angry....." Byakuya threatens seriously

"Ha! You'd never hurt a girl with glasses" Izumo smiles innocently

"No, but I'd hurt a Witch 'with' Glasses" Byakuya stares at her coldly, she gulps and rushes into the school "Heartless☆...!" she sings entering the school in order to get to class

A grey and white wolf runs up to the front of the school stairs nudging Byakuya with its nose to get his attention.

Byakuya shakes his head looking at the wolf "You're joking with me.." shoving his index finger into the Wolf's fore head "Stop fooling around Mitsuki....This School doesn't Tolerate That and you know it" his index finger causes the wolf to shift into Mitsuki's human form "You could have simply woken up earlier.."

Mitsuki shakes her head standing up and stretching "Hey it was the fastest way here, and I didn't mean to over sleep!" She rolls her eyes and sighs heading inside, "And its not my fault you gave me a mountain of work to do." She mumbles under her breath.

"Wouldn't have to do that, if you would just get to class on time" Byakuya scoffs.

Mitsuki starts heading to class with her homework and books in her arms when she passes by two open double doors leading to a decent sized open area. 'Hm, if I cut through the courtyard I bet I can get to class not only on time but early even.' She nods heading through, 'Ha! This will help Nii-san soften up on his punishment.'

As Mitsuki makes her way through the courtyard the wind picks up a bit causing a few of her papers to fly out of her arms. "No! I'll get in trouble if I don't hand those in!" She exclaims as she chases after them. She gets ahold of nearly all of them when she notices the last one floating in the school fountain. 'Of course.' she thinks to herself in annoyance as she leans over the side trying to grab the paper that's just out of reach.

--Just A Few Feet Away--

"Excuse me! Coming through!" A blonde boy with golden eyes rushes through students trying to get somewhere in a hurry.

"Almost..." Mitsuki says to herself, leaning on her tippy toes and reaching as far as she can. "Just... a little..... furth-AH!" Mitsuki yells as the water splashes.

"I am so sorry." The person responsible says standing before Mitsuki. She looks up to a slightly older looking boy with blonde hair and golden eyes, holding out his hand to help her up. "I-I really do apologize, I wasn't watching where I was going."

Mitsuki sighs taking his hand and stepping out of the fountain, "It's... alright... It was just an accident."

Byakuya enters the Courtyard to get to his own class, when he suddenly gets a scent in the air his ears perk up in alert 'What's that smell?....Unordinary...different from anyone else...distinct' Byakuya thinks to himself.

Looking up he releases his Sharp claws and storms toward a tall blonde boy by the Fountain his anger rising.

His Wolf like characteristics showing he grabs the boy by the back of his collar and launches him halfway across the courtyard, crashing into a wall, cracking it effortlessly "Stay away from her!...." he snarls furiously.

"Byakuya! What're you doing!" Mitsuki asks shocked, "He didn't mean to, and he stopped to help me back up." She rushes past him and walks quickly over to the boy, "Hey, are you okay?" She asks dabbing a bit of blood from his head.

He slowly sits up, "Yeah, I'll be... ugh.. fine.." He winces gripping his right shoulder in pain.

"Come on, you should see the nurse." Mitsuki says kindly as she tries to help him up.

Byakuya intervenes, splitting them up throwing the boy back against the wall "Mitsuki! Stay back...Now" he orders and snarls menacingly staring at the boy "What's your name boy?...." he questions clearly irritated by his scent "be quick with your words...Or I'll tear out your throat.." Byakuya's eyes now a Flaming blue holding the boy up against the wall by his neck

Izumo arrives "Huh? Oh my.??...." she lets out confused at the situation 'I was only gone a few seconds.'

"I-It's Yasuo, Ya-suo... S-Soma..." the boy says struggling to speak underneath Byakuya's grasp.

"Nii-san, you're overreacting, please... just let him go." Mitsuki asks with a bit of worry in her voice.

"Do you really want to get suspended, possibly expelled for something like this Byakuya?" Izumo adds walking over, "It's not worth it, and you know it, just put him down."

Byakuya thinks it over and throws the boy away "Get yourself to the Nurse, Yasuo.....But if I see you within 5 yards of my sister.....I'll rip your head off and keep it as a trophy for the rest of your Natural life....Do you hear me?!..." he threatens obviously furious

"And you..." He looks over at Mitsuki "You hear me?...Good, because I wont repeat myself stay away...from that boy.....Are we clear?..." he demands "Are. We. Clear?.."

"Y-Yes." Yasuo says regaining his breath, "I won't cross you." He says as he hurries off towards the nurse's office.

Mitsuki sighs wanting to ask him what the problem is but decides its for the better if she doesn't, she simply nods, "I understand." She says in a low voice, walking away.

Izumo catches up to her, "Hey, I think I have an extra uniform in my locker, come on, let's get you into some dry clothes."

"Thank you." Mitsuki says with a slight smile, but she can't help wondering to herself, 'What could've sent Nii-san over the edge like that? Was it really just because he accidentally pushed me into the fountain?'
