Episode 7: Keeping the Secret

-Three Nights Later-

Byakuya has breakfast ready early, and is exercising in his room doing Push ups non stop "70....71......72......" with each push up a flashback worms into his head, a Home ablaze and the screams of a man and women "73......74....75!....76!....77!....78!....79!....80!....." with each repeating flashback his anger and determination grows, causing him to speed up rapidly "95!....96!...97!...98...99!....100!.."

After eating breakfast and getting ready, Mitsuki stands on the other side of the door and knocks "Nii-san! I'm heading out to meet Izumo at the mall!" She yells from outside his room, "I'll be back later!"

"101!...102!....103!...104!....105!...." He continues pushing himself as if drowning away his sorrows "Be here an hour......106!......107!...108!...109!...110!.....before Dawn or your grounded.......111!....112!...113!...114!....115!....." Byakuya continues rapidly, showing no exhaustion at all.

"Yeah, yeah." Mitsuki says not particularly caring as she heads out the door.

-About 20 minutes later-

Mitsuki arrives at the mall and makes her way over to a familiar blonde waiting by the fountain. "Hey Yasuo." She smiles and waves walking over.

Yasuo looks up and chuckles rubbing the back of his head "H-hey, Mitsuki. You made it." He says enthusiastically.

Mitsuki smiles, "Of course I did, it isn't that hard to get away from my brother." She giggles looking around, "Izumo isn't here, were you trying to get me alone?" She asks teasingly.

He looks away hiding his blush "N-no! She's here...she just went to the restroom said she would be back soon. Hehe.."

Mitsuki moves her face closer to his "Hey are you blushing? You are aren't you?" She continues to tease him, a smirk on her face.

Yasuo steps backward to gain a little distance "Of course not... C-Could you please back up, just a little..."

"Why? What's wrong with me being close like this hm?" Mitsuki asks with an evil grin.

As Mitsuki moves closer to Yasuo, a shopper talking on her phone, not paying any attention to her surroundings accidentally bumps into Mitsuki causing her to trip forward and her lips land right on Yasuo's.

Mitsuki quickly pulls away her face beet red, "T-T-That was not me I-I swear." She says quickly waving her hands defensively.

Yasuo's face is bright red, attempting to keep his composure he moves back several meters "Ehem!...erm...hm....l-let's get going.....Izumo will catch up....!" He stutters 'Why would she?!..she's..she's nuts.....or...no im overreacting. It was just an accident! Yea...an accident' Yasuo thinks to himself.

After a few long awkward moments Izumo finally catches up to the two friends.

"Hey thanks for leaving a girl Yasuo, I asked you to wait for me." Izumo says walking in the middle. She looks back and forth between the two of them and raises an eyebrow, "Is everything alright? You two seem a little... off. Did something happen while I was in the bathroom?"

"No! Nothing!" Mitsuki and Yasuo say in sync glancing at each other and then quickly looking away in opposite directions.

Izumo laughs, "Okay, something definitely happend but fine, fine, I won't push."

"Izumo, let's just keep moving...where do we go first?" Yasuo questions looking at all the stores they're passing by "Maybe some food will help start the night.."

"Yeah, food sounds good, I think the food court is right his way." Mitsuki says pointing slightly right.

Izumo laughs a bit shaking her head, "You two are really weird, but I suppose weird keeps weird company. Come on let's go." She smiles hooking her arms to theirs and heads for the food court.

"Aye, Don't over do it Izumo" Yasuo warns "I've seen how much you eat at school, and I dont think all of our wallets can cover it" he jokes

"Nuh uh, Mitsuki's like a rich girl anyway. So she can definitely afford my appetite! Hehe" Izumo giggles "Actually anyone else would've dumped me years ago...but as I said weird keeps weird company!"

"Izumo! I don't want him thinking of me like that." Mitsuki sweatdrops, "Hehe.. don't uh... tell anyone, no one at school knows except the principle, I don't want special treatment or anything. If people knew who I really was I'd never get detention."

Yasuo thinks about it "Doesn't everyone know who Byakuya is? I mean won't everyone find out that your siblings eventually anyway." He says confused "I mean, I won't treat you any differently, I don't really care whether you're rich or not you're still you."

Mitsuki looks at him a bit in awe as a slight blush creeps onto her face and she looks away, "Thank you, and as far as everyone else knows, I'm just the trouble making step-daughter. At least, that's what I make them believe and with all the trouble I get into it isn't exactly hard to do." She laughs.

Izumo giggles "You two are soo cute! It's like you're meant for each other!" She speaks up embarrassing them both, her stomach growls "You better prepare yourselves...my appetite is on full blast today hehe!"

Mitsuki sweatdrops "Just don't go too crazy. Remember last time you got a huge stom- and she's gone." She says shrugging her shoulders as Izumo moves from kiosk to kiosk in the food court. She rubs the back of her head as her and Yasuo take a seat at a table "Sometimes she can get a little ahead of herself and there's no getting through." she laughs.

Yasuo laughs slightly "She's a very outgoing person as far as I can tell, but I can see why you two are so close" he says with a small smile looking directly at Mitsuki "I'm curious, where does your brother go off too when he misses school?" He asks curiously "not too be nosy of course but seeing as he's very....'aggresive' I doubt he's going out with friends. No offense of course."

Mitsuki stays silent for a quick moment before responding, "Just some family business, I don't even quite know the details to be honest, he says I'm 'too young to understand'." She says quoting Byakuya.

Yasuo chuckles "Trying to keep you away until you're older" he chuckles "Well anyways let's get some food, I'm sure you're hungry and standing here starving isn't going to help us. Come on" this time he grabs her hand on instinct without noticing and rushes her toward a kiosk.

Trying hard to keep her blush under control Mitsuki jokes around, "If you wanted me all to yourself you could've just asked." She giggles.

The blonde blushes and lets go "N-no! That's not what I...I didn't mean to!" He stutters under his words and looks away embarrassed.

Mitsuki laughs, "Hey I'm only messing with you, don't worry about it." She says as she grabs a hold of his arm, "Let's eat, Izumo will catch up."

"Right..." Yasuo sweatdrops 'I'm not sure if this is bad or not but...I'm hoping she doesn't catch up at all...'
