Episode 18: The Loss of Loved Ones

Byakuya stares outside the window of his homeroom class the next morning still in deep thought since his crash from yesterday 'who...who is that girl?...' he thinks to himself still wondering

"Class, we have a new student joining us!" The teacher smiles introducing the pink haired girl to the class

"Crap..." Byakuya facepalms suddenly, crossing his arms

"Why don't you sit beside Byakuya in the back Kyoko...hes always alone back there and could use the company" The teacher suggests in a kind manor

Kyoko nods and walks over giving Byakuya a polite smile as she takes her seat, "Hello again."

~Meanwhile~

Mitsuki leans on the railing of the roof staring down into the courtyard at a familiar fountain. She lets out a long sigh as she goes deep into thought.

"You're up here too...thats nice" The male vampire from yesterday smirks standing upside down looking directly at her "nice to meet you!"

"Huh?" Mitsuki steps back taken by surprise, "O-Oh it's you, n-nice to meet you too." She says looking away. "I.. should be getting back to class..." She says trying to avoid him.

"Ah, well that's to bad I was feeling a bit lonely up here by myself" The vampire smirks "my name is Daisuke Morisawa. What's yours?" He asks politely before she leaves.

"Oh it's Mitsuki.... Mitsuki Haya-" She cuts herself off being cautious, thinking to herself 'After the incident with Yasuo maybe I should be careful with telling people my last name. Especially since Nii-san said we don't have the best past with them.' "Hayatsu." She finishes lying to Daisuke.

"Hayatsu, that's a over the top name I like it" Daisuke chuckles tilting his head curiously "Well, it was nice meeting hopefully I'll see you around more often beautiful" he winks confidently dropping down to the Courtyard on his feet.

Mitsuki nods and turns away quickly to hide her blush, 'I should get to class before Nii-san finds out im skipping again.' she thinks to herself as she makes her way back into the school.

"You know I would be careful...." a familiar male voice speaks "You probably hate me after everything but...you need too watch your back with them...."

Mitsuki turns her head in the direction of the voice to find Yasuo leaning against a wall, "Wh-what're you doing back already? I thought you'd be gone for awhile.... and what do you know about them?" She questions in a hostile voice.

"I'm not here.....im up north I left an astral projection of myself so I wouldn't be marked absent from my classes.." Yasuo informs her "3 vampires arrive randomly....after I'm told that my family was lied to about Byakuya's crime and after I failed to kill him....im just saying it sounds fishy."

"Yeah well then again look at the source of where this is coming from." She says referring to him, "Not exactly the most trustworthy of people." She says rolling her eyes as she begins walking away.

She pauses and looks over her shoulder at him. "By the way, if you're, or whatever this thing is, is here for your classes, shouldn't you be IN them rather than following me around?" She says before continuing on her way.

Yasuo sighs as the projection disappears into thin air. Meanwhile, He takes a blanket off of his head getting up and walking a couple more miles he reaches a large tavern in the middle of a forest "hmm....its quite here.....too quite"

"Your right it's very quite...." a man walks out if the bushes wearing a kimono shirtless covered in scars a long black ponytail and several meter long sword on his side "Weird huh.....they died quietly too I expected monster hunters to live up too the hype" the man smirks confidently

Yasuo narrows his eyes staring at the man, "What did you do?" He asks in a low voice taking a defensive position.

"What do you think?....hm, why don't you pay your family a visit I'm sure you'd enjoy the show I displayed for you.." The swordsman smirks an evil gleam in his eyes

Yasuo's eyes grow wide realizing his family's fate, he grits his teeth and clenches his fist in anger. "Who are you?!" He yells

"They call me Kiba the Man of A thousand Deaths...." Kiba stares at Yasuo seriously grabbing the hilt of his blade "They say you're pretty fast....but are you faster than death?.."

"Tch... I'll kill you!" Yasuo yells as he pulls out his collaspable bow and arrows and shoots three arrows at the man known as Kiba each one disinigrating into millions of air particles when they reach him.

"Hmmm....trick arrows nice touch" Kiba chuckles unsheathing his blade and swinging it to the right using the wind pressure to disperse the particles "You remind me of Van helsing...that old devil always had a trick down his sleeve...too bad had to kill him too.....you have no chance to fight me...i took down the veterans of your family with just a stroke of my blade..... what makes you think that a naive kid like yourself would stand a chance. Hm?"

"Because I will avenge my family... if it is the last thing I do!!" He yells as he begins moving swiftly sending a dozen more arrows headed straight for Kiba.

Kiba smirks "Alright...I'll toy with you for a bit" he dashes forward going straight through the barrages of arrows with incredible force "Come then hunter show me what you got!"

Yasuo scoffs, hopping backward sending more and more arrows "There's no way you can dodge them all!"

"I don't need to!" Kiba laughs with a smirk as each arrow that hits him deflects off as of hitting pure steel "my skin is un-cuttable!" He jumps upward and launches himself like a rocket toward Yasuo swinging his blade like a mad man

Yasuo's skin begins getting dozens of cuts and slices almost as if he was whipped a million times "A-agh!...." he yells in excruciating pain 'How's he so fast?!...' cringing in pain as Kiba delivers a swift heavy kick to Yasuos abdomen sending him like a Tumble weed across the field "Your finished Soma.....your entire family has majestically beheaded and your all alone you have nobody.....and now you will die alone!" The swordsman chuckles sadistcally

"Tch....." Yasuo winces coughing up blood 'Crap....im out matched here, I've gotta get away.." he digs into his pocket

"Hmm...what another trick arrow of yours?" Kiba taunts overlyconfident "just give up fool"

"Hmph....get ready for my ultimate attack...itll blow us both to smithereens if I die I'm taking you with me!" Yasuo speaks up pulling out a small bomb

"Is that a bomb? Your bluffing!" Kiba grunts annoyed by The archers rattling

"I'm on the brink of death i have no reason to bluff....but go ahead move a muscle I'll kill us both quickly" Yasuo says with a smirk this being his final act of valor

'Tch.....These monster hunters are insane' Kiba growls angrily "Your a liar!" He lunges forward at top speed

"Heh! I don't think so!" Yasuo drops the bomb on the floor quickly, creating a large explosion "Goodbye!"

Kiba coughs out the smoke 'Tch....' he looks around quickly having lost track of the monster Hunter 'he's gone.....hehe.....i'll find him, I always do.....no matter how far you run.....im going to take your head off hunter....'
