Later that night as Tien and Chiaotzu ate dinner. Yamcha suddenly came in with a big bouquet of tiger lilies for Tien. "Hey handsome."

"I'm not handsome! Thanks to you I'm gonna be repulsive!" And with that Tien overturned the kitchen table and stormed up the stairs sobbing.

"What's wrong with him Chiaotzu? What did I do?" Yamcha asked confused, he never seen tien act like this before. Usually tien would be smiling saying Hi to him but now this was new he never seen tien sobbing before in his life.

"Well...Umm its not easy for me to say. Have a seat Yamcha." Chiaotzu said, Yamcha sat down placing the bouquet of lilies on his lap.  Chiaotzu then started to explain to Yamcha about why Tien was acting like he was before.

Yamcha looked completely shocked, and surprised. "So he's…..He's carrying my child?" He asked, chiaotzu gave a nod.

"My Tien is having a baby?! This is wonderful!" He sniffled with joy. "Who all knows about it?"

"Only me, Bulma and now you." Chiaotzu answered.

"Bulma?! But we know what would happen if she knows about pregnancies." Yamcha said, thinking about it then seeing decorations of baby showers.

Chiaotzu thought of it too. The two shooked their heads, "Well its probably going to be nice of Bulma doing that for tien." He said. Then yamcha's face turned into a frown.

"What's wrong?" Chiaotzu asked.

"Nothing." Yamcha lied.

Chiaotzu shook it off but was still unconvinced.

"There is something bothering you. Is it vegeta?" Chiaotzu asked, he and the others knew that Vegeta would just tease someone until they break down into a crying streak. It always amuses him to see someone cry.

"No... It's not Vegeta. I mean at one time it would have been. But this time it's my own personal demons trying to overwhelm me. I mean... A baby... A little person that will depend on me... I don't know if I'm ready for that." Yamcha said and got up said goodbye to Chiaotzu and left not even noticing Tien standing at the top of the stairs sobbing as he felt his heart break.

Chiaotzu walked out of the kitchen, he sighed turning his head he saw tien crying on the staircase. He jogged right up the stair case, to hug his long-time friend to give him comfort.

"He... Don't... Want... This... Baby... Does he?" Tien cried.

Chiaotzu had no idea how to help his buddy but he was gonna try his best. "Just give him time... Ok?"

"He's acting like it's my fault! I didn't ask to get pregnant Chiaotzu. I didn't even know I could." He said as he wiped his nose and eyes.

Chiaotzu continued to rub his back, "Its no ones fault tien. It just happened...But give yamcha some time to think about it and then he'll stay with you and the baby."

Tien placed his hand on his flat still toned belly and sighed. "So Chiaotzu? How do you feel about this baby? Cause your opinion matters too?" He asked smiling at him.

Chiaotzu smiled. "I can't wait to meet the little one." He exclaimed.

Tien smiled at that and later that night as he laid in bed he put his hands on his belly and spoke softly to his child. "Worry not my little one... We're gonna be alright." And then fell asleep dreaming of him and the baby spending time together before and after it's birth.
