I know I'm meant to be posting this tomorrow, but I'm currently watching Les Miserables and I want to WRITE!!! So this is loosely based on the song 'Red and Black'. Enjoy, read, comment, do whatever! xox
''Jehan!! You're back!!'' Cries came from every corner of the pub as Jehan strolled in to the Musian. He grinned around at everyone.
''How was England? Write any poems? Learn anything new? What were the girls like?'' Grantaire's RED, bloodshot eyes shined as he fired off these questions. Jehan laughed.
''Settle down 'Taire! It was an amazing experience though. I'll talk to you about it later once everyone's gone.'' This seemed to appease Grantaire and he wobbled back to the table, BLACK curls bouncing on his head.
''So what've I missed?'' Jehan asked no-one in particular.
''Not much. Sophie and Combeferre are finally together, Grantaire's been drinking more than usual without you, Joly's still as hypochondriac as ever and Courf's every bit as flirtatious.'' Enjolras RED jacket flapped in breeze created as Sophie and Combeferre walked in holding hands.
''Here they are now.'' Courf rolled his eyes. He'd been exposed to a bit too much of 'coupleness' over the past few weeks. Sophie and Joly sat down with cheesy smiles on their faces.
''We made fruit crumble!'' They trilled together. There was a mix of response to this; Jehan threw his arms around the couple, Joly and Marius cheered at the sound of food, Courf and Enjolras groaned at the sight of more love and 'Taire, well he has just been 'Taire- pouring more RED wine into his glass.
''Crumble, crumble, crumble!!'' Marius and Joly were now on their feet, clapping and dancing.
''Its raspberry and BLACKberry. I'll go get some plates from Renee.'' Sophie walked off to the landlady's daughter, her RED petticoats swaying.
''Isn't she beautiful?'' Combeferre sighed, earning two slaps on his head from Feuilly. ''She is!'' He said indignantly. Jehan's BLACK eyes twinkled.
''You two are cute together.''
''Huh? what's going on?'' Eponine walked over. ''Who's cute together?''
''Ponine! Just in time for crumble!'' Marius appeared beside her, RED-cheeked from dancing. ''Combeferre and Sophie made crumble!!''
''Does this mean you approve of their relationship now?'' Eponine glanced up at Marius, a look of pure lust on her face.
''I'm not quite as opposed to it as before.'' He replied just as Sophie returned. She was greeted by a kiss from 'Ferre
''Yuck!'' Gaveroche called.
''Gaveroche! Its past your bedtime. What are you still doing up? I'm taking you to bed this instant. '' Courf frog-marched Gaveroche to the door. ''Save some crumble for me!!'' He called back over his shoulder.
When Courfyrac returned, he found the amis plus Marius, Sophie and Eponine eating the RED and BLACK crumble.
''Where's my slice?''
''Don't worry! We, well I, saved you some.'' Marius took a plate over. Courf snatched it, looking at Combeferre and Sophie who were sitting in a BLACK armchair together. Joly sighed:
''Don't you wish you could have something like that Courf?''
''I guess it would be quite nice.'' Courfyrac said through a mouthful of crumbe. ''Enjolras, wouldn't you?''
''Patria is my mistress.''
hahahaha.... I actually had loads of fun writing this and included crumble for you @celticfaeries
